Chapter ELEVEN

LANDON

What the hell are these fucks doing here? i thought for a second it was my father storming back to see if i was still at the church, honestly i wish it was him over these idiots. I watch as they skid into the spot next to our car.

"Landon!" Savannah hops out of a dark blue mustang and calls out my name. Dressed like a skank even in the winter with her low cut top practically begging for you to look at her chest. Looking over at josie i can tell she is pissed. Crossing her arms and scrunching her face, but a part of me finds it cute that she's mad.

"Really?" she says "Savannah?"

I roll down my window in annoyance wondering what in the hell she wants anyway. She walks over to our car door with two guys that I absolutely despise. Savannah and I actually go back quite a ways. We had some stupid middle school fling and then to my supirse stayed somewhat close over the years. I couldn't believe she got a job at the same damn hardware store as me.

"Landon! Come hang out with us! We are going to a party on State street!" she says, then peaks her head inside the car to see josie.

"Oh. why in the hell are you hanging out with that loser?" she laughs and I feel my words turning into vomit.

"I wasn't! I mean I was, but never mind that." "Why in the hell are you hanging out with those fucks?" i bark back

"Landon she is so fucking lame, just drop her off and come with us!" she pleads like a child sticking her bottom lip out.

"Are you kidding me!" I hear joise say back, her face becoming red and flustered.

"How did you even find me here savannah" i say looking past josie's furry.

"We were on our way into town and i saw your car and thought no fucking way its Landon!" she says "So are you coming or what?"

"I don't know, i don't really do the party scene anymore"

"Oh come the fuck on dude, have some fun!" I hear one of the guys say. Its Josh and James Hutcherson, the two most redneck twins you could ever find south of Kentucky.

Josh and i have never liked each other, hes always tried to fuck my girlfriends when hes had a few drinks. I've been in many fights with that guy over women in my life and I'll be dammed if it happens again. He tries to play the nice guy when i see him but i look past that bull shit.

"Shut the hell up" i say glaring at him in disgust.

Turning back I look over at Josie almost forgetting she was there.

"I'll take you back okay?"

"Um no, I'm going to this party with you." She says and I'm actually surprised and somewhat angry that she wants to go.

"What? why?" I say sharply under my breath.

"I'm not sure, but i'm going whether you like it or not." Did she really just tell me what to do?

Part of me wants to say "No i'm taking you back home now!" but the other half of me wants her to go too. "Fine, but you stay close to me."

Turning back to look at savannah i notice she's got lipstick smeared around her mouth, i wouldn't doubt she was making out with both twins. What a whore, I'm so relieved to know Josie isn't like that. Well what I know of her anyway. "Well. I guess we will come." i say back to her trying to overlook her skankiness.

"We?" she says

"YES WE" josie says as she overpowers my voice.

Josh pushes savannah to the side and puts his head in the cracked window to peak at Josie "You can always hang out with me" he says with a sick twisted smile.
