Holly hid behind me as we reached close to Luke's house. She was terrified of getting in trouble, I wouldn't blame her... Liz can be scary sometimes. But she isn't at home and neither is Andy. Holly looked like a 4 year old terrified of the monster under bed.

"What are you scared about?"

"Being killed." She replied.

"Your not going to get in trouble." I say, turning around to face her. "You haven't done anything to get in trouble!" Holly's eyes were puffy and sore from crying, She is more vulnerable than I ever thought. "I'm here." I say assuring her.

"I know, but i'm involved. It's not the same anymore. Like I won't be able to talk to Liz, the way I did with my Mum."

"What do you mean?"

"Like in the morning, I didn't want breakfast. Yet, she called me and I went because I didn't want to seem rude whereas if it was my mum i'd be like meh, it's only mum. Bye! I can't do that with her. So when I talk to her, how is she going to understand me like my mum used to? No-one knows me as well as my mum used to. How am I supposed to explain it to her?"

"I know it's really hard. Especially talking to someone about yourself. Someone you hardly know, but you gotta trust her, treat her like your mum for her to be a mum. That probably sounds mad, but I hope it makes sense."

"It does. But I don't know. I never really told anyone anything about myself."

"You told me."

"That's not even the half of it." She whispered. I didn't question her. I wondered what she meant.

I held her hand, leading her into the front yard. Molly ran towards Holly and begun to bark excitedly. Holly knelt down and hugged her.

"Can I stay here?"

"No. We have to clean up those cuts on your hands."

"But Molly..." She shows me the puppy dog face. It was irresistible, but I had to shake off the butterflies in my stomach. I wanted to laugh. No, I have to stay serious.

"No, buts. Move it child!"

"Fine." She groaned getting to her feet again.

Holly walked slowly behind me, grabbing onto my top like a small kid. I press the doorbell. I turn around, "It's okay." She nodded. I felt bad, but I don't want to be seen as the bad person making her bunk off school.

(Holly's P.O.V)

My breathing becomes heavier as we walk towards the front door. Even though Liz isn't home, others still are. They'll probably just think i'm that troubled kid after her 'problems'. I'm not. It's just that some things in life just hate me.

Ashton rings the doorbell. He swings around, making me let loose of his top. "It's okay. Chill." He says. I reply with nothing and nod slowly hoping he says no more.

"Ahh! It's you!" Luke yells. Ashton giggles, pushing me forward. "Holly... What's happened?" He wraps his arms around me.

"Luke! Who is it?" Ben yelled. Walking over to the front door, followed by Jack. Isn't this just awesome?

"Holly? What the hells happened to you hands?" Jack says, lifting my hands to his sight.

I keep quiet. My heart jumping to my throat leaving me speechless.

"Holly? What's happened?" Ben questions.

"Can everyone just stop asking me questions? I've only come because Ashton made me and wants my hands to be cleaned up because they look ... Well bloody. So, can I come in?"
