Over and Over

Chapter 16

(Holly's P.O.V)

Finally Friday. This week had been like no other day since everything had happened. Nothing new with Liam. Nothing new with Danny. Nothing new with anyone or anything. I just avoided Ava more than I usually did on a daily basis.

We sit in the back yard of my house after having another band practice because it's too hot to stay inside. The guys were leaving tomorrow for NYC and they needed this last day to just mostly chill out so they decided to join us after we finished practice. We all sat around the pool and we all chilled.

Emily, Calum and Charlie sit in the shade under the patio. Luke, Michael, Ashton sit topless sitting on the edge of pool with their feet dipped inside. I sit between Ashton and Luke with my legs crossed away from the water. We all talk about the random things in our minds and on social media which we all mostly revolve around. Ashton' hand kept slipping around my waist and tickling it and then moving away slightly.

"Ashton! Stop it!" I whine.

"Sorry." He says throwing a cheesy smile at me.

I look at my wrist to notice the time on my watch, 5PM. I get up and reach for my phone laying on the table behind Ashton on the patio. I step forward, not looking up from my screen looking for Uncle Danny' number to text that i'll be at the hospital in a while. I step a little forward to hear a massive splash in the direction of the pool, I look up and see Ashton inside the pool and Emily running back to her seat beside Calum.

"Holly!"

"It wasn't me!" I exclaim. Luke and Michael lie on the floor laughing. A drenched Ashton climbs out of the pool towards me, making his way closer to my body."I swear it weren't me!" I look at Emily and glare daggers at her.

"This is revenge!" He says almost wrapping his arms around me, but I dodge down and run towards the house. "Where you going?" He yells, running after me.

"Get away you clown!" I say throwing him a towel.

"Come on babe, I won't hurt you!" He says, moving closer. 'Babe'

"Get away! If you make the kitchen wet, you can clean it!" I try to threaten him.

"You're so evil! You can never make Irwin clean!" He says giggling, trying to reach his hand over to my body from the back-door.

"Ironically, you've just washed up in a pool. So watch me!" I say dodging him. My phone in my hands vibrates. With caller ID, 'Uncle Danny'. "Wait a minute Irwin!" I pick the phone up and hold it up to my ear, "Hello."

"Hi, where are you?" He asks.

"I'm still home and every..."

"D-don't come to the hospital. Stay at home." His voice shakes. My chest becomes tighter...Not Liam.

"Is Li-Liam okay?" I say, holding my breath.

Ashton catches my attention and mouths: "Everything is okay?" His eyes are filled wih concern and light tears.

"Holly, I'll be home soon."

"Danny...Dan. What the fuck!" I try to call again, but his phone is switched off this time.

"I have to go to the hospital." I say, grabbing the keys off the counter, walking out from the kitchen into the back yard. Ashton follows behind.

"What's happened?" Ashton asks.

"I-I don't know. I just have to go."

"Wait, hold on. I'll drive you there. Let me quickly get changed, I have spare clothes in my car." He says quickly running out towards the backyard gate.
