Chapter 9: Plan in Action

I walked around the castle hiding from my lover. I started taking a few things and Nana is distracting Scarlet from finding out. Kaito is helping out with sneaking stuff around. I found this perfect spot in the top of the castle. Abandoned room. Its huge. If I am correct its the attic. 

I smiled as I was able to clean it and scare away all the bats and rats living in it. I made sure that none will come back in. I had a few blankets. All brown just for in case as I just walked towards the stairs. I chuckled and held the brown blankets tightly to my chest.

Valentine's Day is getting near and this will be my first gift to her in two years and I will make it special before I get everything ready to propose. It will take so long to get the plan to keep on. I started walking up the stairs and I see Kaito with the bouquet of flowers I asked for. 'Yes!' I smiled widely and we used our speed to get to the attic in seconds. We don't want somebody to rat out my plan. Kaito looks around confused as everything looked so cheeky. I have to be surprising and romantic.

"This is too much dude" he tells me as he raised an eye brow

"Almost... I am only missing the food preparations" I tell him with joy a smile on my face

"You really love her don't you?" He asked me with a cheeky smile

"Of course I do!" I tell him seriously as I turn around a bit

"Alright... I'll go spy and see what she likes most to eat" he tells me with a gentle smirk

He vanished and the bouquet of roses land on the floor making me look around confused. The hell. I groaned out and I grabbed the bouquet and placed them on the table near the window. It has a perfect view of the forest and the city by it. I stared out and I just saw the lights of each home still on. I smiled as I just couldn't imagine a life without Scarlet. Would I have stayed the same ignorant child? Would I still hate humans? Would I had become a ruthless blood craving vampire? Would I have ruled over the whole lands? Would I had killed many people? Scarlet included?

I looked around the attic as I felt confused then I looked at the pile of blankets in my arm. Is this right? Doing all this so big and so extravagant? Should I just had taken her out? Should I cook for her? Am bad at cooking should I buy her a gift? Should I take her around? Travel to a different land with different humans. Would it be fun? Being in a different land? No I guess not. Each land has their own customs and views of life. Not all lands know about vampires and werewolves. It would be fun if some of our kind travelled to knew lands and try to conquer.

No I cannot think that I must be a responsible and respected ruler just like father. Everyone respects him and try to never attack him. We maintain balance at least in our laws its important not to take a childs life or enslave them. As well as to not touch someone else's lover. There are many laws but they are rarely judged. We cannot enslave any being. We cannot kill or seek war. As well as similar human laws. Not abuse to females or opposite. No rape. No kills. No threats. No stealing. No abusing children. Like any normal laws.

I gently placed the blankets on the floor as neatly as I could. Then placed the last one on the table. I grabbed the bouquet and placed it on the table with the vase I had. Water and vitamins were already in it. I placed the bouquet in it. They need at least sun light so its a good thing to place them here. I walked towards the stair case and looked around one more time before leaving. I closed the door locking it completely. I don't want her finding it by accident.

I headed towards the human town hopping the jewelry maker is still open seeing that it is still early. I need to make a few things for Scarlet. I know she loves the color blue and red. Maybe I should get rubies. Sapphires as well. Should I take regular diamonds as well? Yeah just a few and the amount of money I need to pay for it to be made. Lets see what kind of jewelry store it became this past years. Is it bigger? Do they have more variety. Is it the same man except old. Or did a different human obtained the store

I smiled gently and headed to my father who keeps my earnings secretly hidden away. The proposal ring I wish to use is one made with my ideas. The wedding ring will be passed down from my mother to Scarlet. It has been a tradition for years know. That ring has been passed down from my fathers mother and her mother. That ring is over 200 years old. I already have the perfect design for Scarlet's ring. I may even do the one she likes. She loves roses so I should check if they can do one with a rose design. So many good ideas and I can't do all of them.

"Sasuke?" I hear Scarlet and I stop in my tracks terrified

'Don't act nervous... Act normal!' I turn around and there she stood with big eyes. She looks as if she hasn't slept in a while. I felt confused and I saw her yawn a little. She must have been working hard on something. Weird Nana is not around I thought she was going to stay by her side. I took gentle steps towards her and smiled gently. But in truth I am super worried about her and I am nervous about her finding her big surprise. As well as all my plans. Its only the beginning but I can't keep on postponing it. 

"What's wrong love?" I asked her worriedly as my smile fade as she looks down

"Mother had an accident so Nana is taking me over there to check on her" Scarlet whispers out in pain

Tears swelling up in her eyes and I hugged her tightly to me and say gently "Everything will be alright love... Nana is very good in healing so she will help your mom in every way"

She sniffles "You sure... She'll be ok?"

"Yes... I know it" I whispered gently

She cried more as I held her tighter to me. Nana had appeared and I gently nod my head to her. We had planned to bring the mom to live with us. We do not know how she will react. We don't even know if she will agree. But chances are to be taken. I will take this chance and send her away for the time being so she doesn't see the surprise but as well I can take this chance to speak with her mom. 

I smiled widely and I lightly push her back. She looks at me with wide eyes as the last of her tears had streamed down. I smiled at her as wide as I could and she just looks at me a bit terrified know. 

"Let's ask your mom to move in with us..." I tell her with a giant smile 

Her eyes brightened up and she says a bit loudly "REALLY!?" 

I flinched a little by the sudden shriek and I smiled a lightly know as my ear is ringing a little "Yeah... Let's go I get a ride for us alright and you just lead the way..." 

She shrieks out in joy as she starts jumping. God I love this girl.
