Chapter 20: Breakfast Ideas

I had awoken hung over so I groaned out confused. I don't remember anything at all. How much did I drink? I heard a gentle groan at my side and I jumped surprised. Until I remembered who it is. I gentle smile had spread across my face seeing her gentle head moving a little. I touched her face as softly as I could. I did not want to awaken here. But I noticed I didn't have anything before my wrist. Wait? 

I was wearing the tuxedo for our wedding. I looked at myself panicked and noticed I am completely naked. My heart started racing in panic mode and I raised the cover in panic. I relaxed just a tiny bit when I noticed boxers. Me still not wanting to awaken her I move her cover gently.

I breathed out as I noticed her in a nightgown. But still. I don't remember anything. I sighed out and just got out of the bed and decided to go down stairs and make breakfast. As well as figure out what happened last night. I felt completely confused and so I placed my shoes on. I felt completely confused and I heard her gentle groan. I looked back to her as she twists around and the way her hair is messy. 

It looked kinda cute and so I smiled gently and just stood straight. I opened the balcony door so she could receive the wind so she wouldn't feel so heated. I walked back to her and just covered her calmly and completely. I felt a bit happy as she just curled up I saw her smooth skin glimmering gently. 

I had exited the room gently and as quietly as I could so she wouldn't wake up. I felt so confused as maids were walking around giggling. They were cleaning all the rooms so I headed towards the kitchen. I felt confused as I haven't noticed any of the guards and so I couldn't even find Kaito. Nana is nowhere to be seen either. I heard the gentle giggle and so I looked around confused. 

So I followed the giggle and it lead me to Alice. She was giggling with Kaito's son and I felt confused. That was pretty quick for him to get a liking to her. I walked to them and Alice looks up in panic. I know I scare her but I never expected her to fear me this much. Kaden had looked up to me and he stands up quickly. He bowed to me and I just felt completely confused. 

"Why are you bowing?" I asked confused

"It is proper being that you are King" Kaden had answered proudly 

"How are you feeling King?" Alice asked me curiously 

I looked at her and spoke "I am alright... Just not remembering what had happened" 

"You do not?" Alice is surprised and she glances at Kaden

Kaden had stood straight and had spoken to me "Well we are confused... We had gone to the after party and Nana and Dad had spoken with you in secret you looked so angry and started drinking like crazy... Alice and Nana had accompanied the Queen to her bedroom as she was really tired..."

"Do you know what they had told me?" I asked curiously 

"No I apologize... I had stood guard with Dad until you sent us away" Kaden had answered calmly and confused

"We thought none of it and I headed to the bedroom that was provided for me to sleep the night..." Alice had spoken calmly as she looks down

I heard a door open and I felt completely confused so I looked back. I noticed Amelia leaving one of the guest rooms with a pile of dirty covers. I had walked towards the kitchen in search of one maid free at least but if I couldn't find one then I will cook for her. I haven't even sensed Kaito or Nana anywhere. Kaito must be busy right know and so is Nana. 

I sighed out and just noticed one of the guests looking angry as they were at the table. Usually breakfast takes long but how long have they been waiting in here? I had walked in and all eyes land on me. They had all stood up and bowed at me. I ignored them and headed towards the kitchen. 

What should I make? Scrambled eggs with bacon and toasts? Pancakes with sunny side eggs? Scrambled eggs hashbrowns and french toasts? Waffles with fruit? Fruit salad with pancakes? Waffles with apple slices? Banana pancakes? Strawberry? Blueberry? Chocolate? A toasty sandwich with everything inside? Does she even like sweet breakfasts? I know she likes to mix and match. 

Maybe I should do that. Fruits and Vegetables maybe some pancakes on the side? Waffles? Sweet and Salty is a good mix at times even more if it has chocolate in it. She is a chocolate addict so maybe the waffles should have chocolate chips on it. Whip cream should do great on top. The scent of bacon had hit my senses and I smiled at the idea to add the bacon on the side. I need to add as much as I can to maintain a dietary balance. 

I had made it to the entrance and noticed three maids making breakfast. All human. I sighed out and just walked in but someone had stopped me. I had looked down and noticed Nana. Her arms crossed and she looked very angry at me. Scary.

"What do you think you are doing?" she asked me angrily 

"I wanted to make something for Scarlet" I told her as I tried taking a step 

She had stood her ground and snapped at me "Men are not welcomed in here! So tell me what you want to make and I will do it"

"But I..."

"I said NO! Do you want me to repeat myself!" I jump back in terror

I quickly spoke "No..." 

"Then tell me now before she awakens hungry!" she ordered me

"Sh-She likes Sweet and Salty and chocolate... Waffles bacon fruits veggies french toasts" I say in panic as I had taken a step back 

"You finally figured that out?" she chuckles at me with a gentle anger to her tone

I just felt terrified of her right now and all I could do was just stand there as Nana started to cook everything as fast as she could. Two more female vampire maids had entered to assist with making the breakfast for the guests. I just stared at them cook and I just kept my eyes there. I learn by looking so all I had to do was watch but Nana vanished. 

My whole body felt cold as someone grabs my shirt and yanks me away from the door. I knew it was Nana so I had to walk backwards by her yanking. I was even forced to sit down and Nana had ordered me to stay. 

All I had was breakfast ideas and I couldn't even make them.
