Chapter 22: Happy Moment

I felt such joy I wanted to tell him. The moment Nana had gone to start making my pregnancy gowns and Alice to search up healthy meals for pregnant woman. I had taken my chance and started to search for Sasuke. He needs to know about the upcoming child. I don't even know if it will be a hybrid or human. I need to tell him the good news but I couldn't find him anywhere so all I have to do is plan for the best move to tell him. 

Will he be happy? Will he be angry? What will happen? Will it be a boy or a girl? Would it be twins? Will it be a hybrid? Will it be human? Will it be a vampire? Oh my god I need to start thinking about names and start preparing the bedroom. 

I giggled as I looked around for him even more. Nana was laughing so she is zooming all around me as she is getting materials. I know it. But seeing as I cannot find my husband I should go find my mother and give her the good news. I am so happy that I can give her grandchildren before she gets even older. I giggled as I did my best to not run or stress myself. I don't want anything to happen to the baby. I know I am still in the early stages but damn I am such a protective mom. 

I smiled widely at the great feeling in my heart and I wanted the world to know but maybe I should surprise Sasuke. I giggled for a bit and I finally find Kaito. He looks very busy but I headed towards him I was at least curious to where Sasuke is anyways. Kaito always knows where he is at. Weirdly enough he did not tell me where he went but I trust him. 

"Kaito..." I had spoke

Kaito looks my way and smiles he dismissed the two guards and walked to me gently "Scarlet... Is something wrong?"

"Oh no... I am in search of my mother but I wanted to speak to Sasuke first before heading to my mother" I had admitted to him 

He smiles gently "He got grounded by his father... He is doing so much paperwork... All the paperwork he tried to skip..." 

I giggled and I spoke calmly "Wow... He always told me he had done all his work"

"No... He has not and his father had found all the paperwork he hides... But if you wish I can relay the message" Kaito had told me with a gentle smile 

"I have something better..." I say as I looked at him with a gentle smile "Can you keep something a secret... I want to surprise him"

He looked confused but spoke "Of course... What is it that you want me to keep a secret?"

I touched my stomach and I say in a happy mood "Sasuke will be a dad and I want to surprise him with the news" 

Kaito's curious expression turns into a giant smile "Congratulations... Alright I shall maintain this a secret until you are ready to announce it to him" 

I smiled widely and say "Thanks Kaito... You can at least say I have a surprise for him... I know Nana will start to make him get things for his unborn child... But can you help me prepare the bedroom" 

"Of course Scarlet" he say with a giant smile 

"At least the gender has to wait but we can at least add the things inside before we add the decoration in theme of the baby's gender" I had explained gently 

"No worries Scarlet... I will baby proof that bedroom so good that you won't even have to worry... All we need is an item for when the child is crying you can still hear it oh I have so many ideas for that bedroom" him talking about it made a gentle laugh come out of me 

"Thank you Kaito..." I told him with a gentle smile 

"Do not thank me... I love children so go on ahead Nana and I will maintain that big lug busy until you are ready" Kaito had told me with a gentle smile 

"Still... Thank you" I say with a smile 

He just rolls his eyes to me and I headed towards my mother. She wanted more privacy so she got the other side of the castle to enjoy. Her own garden and pets. I think the man is over there as well. I felt such excitement to tell my mother about the pregnancy and I know she will be so happy about it. I smiled and giggled a bit. 

I bumped with someone and they had hold around my waist so I wouldn't fall. I should be more attentive I coughed once but really low. Man this person has a strong body it even knocked the air from inside of me. I opened my eyes gently and I felt surprised. It is my Father-In-Law. I smiled at him gently as to not disrespect him or anything. He had helped me stand straight and I bowed my head to him as I take two steps back. 

I just bumped with Sasuke's dad. I expected him to be with Sasuke doing lots of paperworks. I just had to basically calm my breathing as I was too excited. I am such an idiot at times. I should have been more attentive. What if I had gotten hurt? What if I had fallen on my stomach and lost the baby? I need to calm down I don't want to get too stressed. 

"It has been a while child..." he had finally spoken 

"It has been... I do apologize I was not attentive..." I apologized as I kept my head down 

"Stand straight child you are know a Queen..." he had told me 

I did as told but I had spoken "I may be Queen but I still need to show respect..." 

He smiles gently but then looks at my stomach "So you are expecting..." 

"How...??"

"I am as old as any other strong elder... I have learned many tricks in these past millennials" he admitted with a gentle smile "Are you telling my son?"

"Actually I wanted to surprise him..." I say with a giant smile but I continue saying "Even so he is busy and learning a lesson" 

"So you heard?" he asked curiously 

"Yes... Would you like to join me for Tea later?" I asked him curiously 

"That is a great offer but I must decline... I have to start heading to the nearing Clan to do a routine check" he had spoken calmly 

"Please be safe..." I had told him as I place my hand on top of my stomach

"Do not fret child... I will still be alive for when the child is born" he had said with a smile 

He then vanished from in front of me. I looked around me panicked and surprised. Where is he? Where did he go? I even walked forward but I did not see him. I couldn't bid my goodbyes to him but he seems a busy man. I knew there were some clans but are they really causing trouble around the world? I sighed out and I just continued to go towards my mother. I could smell the fresh tea emitting from this side of the castle. 

Did they finish her side of the kitchen? This tea smelled so good and so sweet. I want some. I want some so badly and I want to just learn how to make such teas. But mother is an expert when it comes to making tea in different flavors. I always loved the Rose Tea she makes. I smiled widely as I opened the door to reveal a gentle kitchen. Comfortable enough for three people but for the purpose for one. 

I had walked in and noticed mother making some sweets while stirring something. The smell is so sweet but in some odd way I knew what it was. Strawberries. I love strawberries and mother is making a tea out of it. I want a taste. Mother looks my way and had a huge smile on her face. Well it's time to tell her but first I will let her poor tea. 

I am so nervous.
