Chapter 19: Wedding Day Part 2

SASUKE's POV

I stood there as everyone whispered a little bit. Alice is standing at the back ready for Scarlet but we were all worried as Nana and Scarlet haven't even walked out yet. I wanted to check on them so badly but I had not seen any of them. I looked at the pastor of our kind. Knowing her she would like to do this officially so I had to search long and hard for it to work. 

The piano started playing and that's when I snapped my gaze towards the building's door. Alice ready with the mix of blue and white rose petals. My gaze never left the door as the sun was so bright today but in that specific spot it could be blinding. Is the Goddess of Light blessing our wedding? Or is it blessing her? I saw her flats being that it is pretty sandy I didn't want her to fall or hurt herself while walking on heels. 

Maybe I can do this kind of thing each anniversary. I started seeing that princess like dress was making my heartbeat so fast. I am so nervous about this. Will I fuck this up? Will she say no? Will she run away? Will she hate me? Is she regretting her decision? Did she say something to Nana while we waited for them? Did something happen while we weren't there? I looked at Dad panicked but he just gave me the thumbs up. 

I nod and just looked forward. The moment her whole figure had shown my whole body froze. The dress had fit her perfectly. She looks like an angel. I noticed how her fingertips had let the gentle fabric of the dress go. She might have not noticed she was clutching the poor dress out of nerves. I am nerves too. But seeing this angel of a woman I can only hear the beating of my loud heartbeat. 

Each step she had taken felt like an eternity. I want her by my side already and admire the beautiful angel that I will soon call my wife. My hands are already itching to hold her hand. Pull her to me and give her the biggest kiss anyone has ever seen. But I must hold back being that she is holding back as well. We want this perfect and with no interruptions or surprises. As she got closer I rose my hand to touch her soft ones. 

Her smile is so bright it's almost blinding but all I could do was smile at her. She looks so beautiful. Just like a true Queen. If I wasn't the Vampire King and just an ordinary human I wouldn't even care. She is still my Queen. My one and only lover. I may have done so many wrong doings in my past but I have showed mercy for all of it. I have learned from my errors. All of them and I have begged to be pardoned and she has. 

She is still here by my side and has accepted all my apologies and I am glad about it. I could never have lived with myself if she was angry at me. If she ignored me. If she had told me she hates me. I do not want her to hate me. I want her to love me. I want her to hold me. I want her to cuddle me. I want to feel safe in her beautiful arms as I listen to her melodic heart as it beats into a melody of love. 

"Please take your seats as this ceremonial wedding has begun..." the man had spoken 

But I never left my gaze from her eyes. Her eyes glimmering with joy and I could see the warmth emitting from them. I smiled at her and she smiles at me in return. I felt so warm inside. I felt such love. I felt my stomach twist and turn with nervousness as this was going as planned but still why do I feel this way? I held her hand tightly a little too hard but the way she held my own surprised me. It made me calm down and just snap back to reality. 

I can't be daydreaming of our future if it isn't official yet. I did my best to look at the man and so did Scarlet. He read the script and all we had to do was wait a little then when it is our turn to answer. We answer. I already have my answer. I don't know why but we looked at each other in zinc. 

She looks amazed but she had smiled. Such a warm smile. It warmed me even further and I want to scream I DO to the skies. I want everyone to know how much I love this woman. I want to scream it out but I won't. This is the perfect moment to show it. I know what she likes and loves. I know what she detests and hate. So I need to balance myself just for her. The man is still speaking but all I could look at was her eyes. 

Her clear eyes glimmering like the stars. I couldn't look away from them I could still listen to the man but I was too entranced to look away.

"I do..." I had answered the question

He directed his question to her but she did not hesitate "I do..." 

A giant smile had spread across my face "I now pronounce you Husband and Wife... You may kiss the bride"

I hug her to me so perfectly and I say "Looks like you are stuck with me forever..." 

She giggles as she spoke calmly in her taunting tone "Looks like you are stuck with me forever..."

I chuckled out and I kissed her. I am completely entranced with the kissing I did not care about everyone cheering for us. But I knew I had to stop. I wouldn't want to embarrass her in front of everyone. We had separated from our kiss and just then looked at the crowd. Excitement filled the air and I knew she is smiling. 

The way her heart is beating and the way she is holding me. She is a bit nervous with all this but she is handling it perfectly. We knew this would be a lot to take in but here we are. Holding on to each other and just smiling widely at them. 

My life is complete and I will protect her for all eternity. I am her knight in shining armor. She is my Queen.  

I will protect her and give her the world. I love her. I will always love her.
