Two weeks have passed and I haven't heard a thing from Blake. I assumed he was in the studio most of the time and with a girl the rest of the time. Although it hurt to assume, it was most likely the truth. He's a celebrity and has multiple options, so why would he choose me? Besides, my friends and I have been known to over-analyze boys situations and this was just another one of those times.

I was walking around my local store for the weekly groceries, when I bumped into someone I hadn't seen in a while. "Austin! it's been so long, how you been?" Austin and I liked each other a lot about a year and a half ago in high school but I haven't seen him since.  Which means, I have no clue if he's still into me or not.

"I've been great! What about yourself?"

"Pretty good but also pretty complicated." I laugh.

"Yeah, I understand that. Hey, while I've got you here, do you mind me asking if you're free tomorrow for lunch?" Yep, still into me.

"Yes, I am! Do you need my number?" He nods and we exchange phone numbers before going our separate ways.

Later that night, I get texts from one of my group chats.

                                                                            losers

flake: hey leilei we were wondering
if you wanted to come over
tomorrow to hang out?

leilei: Yeah definitely! I've a lunch date
tomorrow so it'd have to be after that

 rice: Ooooo

flake: um with who???

leilei: just a guy from high school. we liked
each other a year and a half ago and haven't
                                              seen each other since

jorji: do you still like each other?

leilei: I most definitely do not but idk about him

rice: well considering he asked you

on a date I think he does...

                                                      leilei: oh

jorji: well, have fun! we wish you good luck tomorrow

rice: we expect all the details when you come over afterwards

                                                 leilei: thx and will do:)

I turn my phone off and get ready for bed. I did notice how blake suddenly stopped texting but I just shrug it off and got in bed.

I wake up around nine the next morning and start getting ready by eating breakfast and showering. I let my hair air dry to look like beach curls and did my makeup and got dressed in a white shirt and denim shorts with an unbuttoned flannel on top. I must say, I looked great.

the girls saw me hurrying around the house and decided to ask me about it. "Where in the world are you going, Leilani?" Indie calls out.

"A date!" I respond.
