We woke up the next morning to go spend the entire day learning how to surf. I know there was going to be a photographer there with the instructor to take cool pictures of us and i was really excited. One of my dreams has always been learning how to surf and i was so excited to actually be doing it!
We surfed from sunrise to sunset and i had the time of my life. I was already feeling pro even though i know i wasn't. I should maybe just move here and become a professional surfer. The girls and i were too exhausted to do anything else so we got in bed and ordered room service while watching pysch.
"So," i pause the show. "what's plan for tomorrow?"
"I was thinking we should try swimming with sharks." Delilah says casually as she focuses on her dinner. Indie and i pause our eating to stare at her. "What?" Delilah says. "Not dangerous sharks. The ones you can touch."
"Alright, i guess that sounds fun." Indie shrugs and i chuckle quietly as i resume psych.

I have to say when we got to the shark meeting place, i was scared. Sharks are one of my biggest fears but everyone assured me that these sharks were actually very friendly. We got into a clear canoe so we could see the sharks underneath us. It was very cool and i loved every second.
"Do you three want to swim with them?" An employee asks us.
"Uh..yeah!" i say hesitantly.
"Look at lani overcoming her fears." Delilah laughs and i give her a cheeky grin before hopping into the water. I floated on my back with my new shark friends all around me. Surprisingly, it was very relaxing. I lay there for about ten minutes before indie and delilah want to get in as well, so i climb out and watch them.
"We also have flamingos if you want to meet them." The same employee tells me.
"Yes! Where?" I ask excitedly. She tells me where they're located and i almost run. Flamingos are on of my favorite animals, so i was ecstatic. I ended up getting some really cool and the whole experience was amazing.
this chapter is literally the shortest thing but i originally had it as a social media chapter but i decided against it.
writing this made me miss my trip to hawaii and when i learned how to surf. they did in fact take pics of me while surfing but they never gave to me so rip lol
