this is gonna be very short but whatever

(a month later)

I was feeling very pregnant now and my bump was growing every week. Plus, I had the worst cravings so I decided to go out and grab some good while blake is at the studio all day. Although McDonald's wasn't my favourite, I was craving chips. As I was eating, I get a text from blake.

hey love, you doing okay?

yeah I'm just at McDonald's

B💕
why? I thought you hated that place

Lani🌺
it's for the baby don't question it

B💕
huh. okay, weird. But I'll be home around 8 tonight. is that fine?

yeah that's fine. now go back to work, I love you

I looked at the time and it read 12:30. I sigh and continue eating my chips, wondering what I'm gonna do for the next 8 hours. I finish eating and walk around some shops before I walk home.

"Hey coops, how are you?" I smile and he barks in response, wagging his tail. I end up playing with him and then decide to watch a movie.

"Hey darling, how was your day?" Blake finally comes home and gives me a quick kiss.

"Exhausting. How bout yours?" I ask as he sits down next to me.

"Mine was pretty average. Why was yours exhausting?"

"Well I walked to McDonald's and walked around some shops for a bit and then I walked back home and played with cooper."

"Remember when that didn't exhaust you?" He laughs and I roll my eyes.

"You would be exhausted too if you were growing a freaking human being inside you," I tell him and he laughs again.

"I know I know. You wanna go to bed?"

"Yes please." We get ready and quickly hop in bed. Blake is laying on his side with one hand on my bump in a protective manner, with both of us in a comfortable silence. I pick up his hand and start to play with his fingers before I break the silence.

"I love you."

"I love you so much." He kisses my cheek and says, "Something's wrong. What's up?"

"Nothing's wrong."

"Leilei don't lie to me. I know you better than anyone so I can tell when you're lying."

"I just feel like I won't be a good mum." I sigh.

"That's the craziest thing I've ever heard. You'll be the best mum ever."

"How do you know? I've never done this type of thing before, Blake."

"Neither of us have." Blake chuckles softly, "I know you will be a fantastic mum because of the way you treat everyone. You're so kind and caring, it's amazing. It's one of the things that made me fall in love with you."

"Thank you I just...i feel like I won't know how to do anything when she's here."

"We'll figure it out along the way. Plus, we've both our parents to help us."

"You're right. I'm so nervous."

"Hey I am too but we'll get through it." He kisses my nose. "Alright, we should go to bed."

"Goodnight, B."

"Goodnight, love."
