~chapter 22~

(reece's POV)

I miss Indie like crazy. She's the first thing on my mind when i wake up and the last thing when i go to  bed. I just want to hold and kiss her right now. Instead, i decide to facetime her as i was doing nothing. She picked up fairly quickly with a smile on her face.

"Hey Reece! I miss you!" 

"Hey beautiful, i miss you too! how are things back home?" I ask, happy to see her face.

"Pretty good, we're just chilling." She laughs. "How bout you? How's tour?"

"It's amazing!" I start telling her everything exciting that has happened so far and she listens intently. 

"Please send me pictures of everything, i want to see all your tour memories!" She beams.

"Will do! Ugh i wish you were here with me." I groan.

"Me too but only two more months till we see each other!" She says, looking on the bright side.

"That's way too longg."

"I know but it'll go by fast, i promise! It's already been 3 months!" 

"Yeah, you're right. I just hate being so far away from you."

"I know and same." She gives a little smile. We talk for about an hour until i see her start to yawn.

"You're tired, i'm gonna let you go to bed." I smile.

"Alright, thanks. I'll text you tomorrow, okay?" She says and i nod.

"Wait, before you hang up..." I bring my lips to my phone, kissing her goodbye in a way. I'm excited for the day when I can actually do that, not just through a screen. I see hear her giggle softly and that makes my heart melt. How could she be so perfect?

"Goodnight, love."

"Goodnight." She smiles and hangs up. I flop back onto my bed and let out a sigh. Two minutes later, i hear my two best friends walk into my hotel room.

"What's wrong mate?" Blake asks.

"I'm in love with indie." I realize. I whisper so quietly, i can barely hear myself.

"what did you say? I didn't hear you." George says. I sit up quickly as the realization hits me more.

"I'm in love with Indie." A wide grin appears on my face as i say it out loud. I see Blake and George smile too.

"Finally!!" Blake laughs. All i wanted right now is to tell her how i really feel and to kiss her for the first time. Because i can't do that, I decided i'll do a cover for her. I whipped out my camera and started singing For Now by Lauv.

"Hello everyone! My name is Reece from New Hope club and this is my cover of For Now by Lauv. It's dedicated to a very special someone." I smile and start singing.

"I'll send you pictures all the time of our friends when they're too drunk and telling stories
I'll keep you right here in my brain
Even when we're waking up in different cities

I know it's hard to feel so close

I finish singing and blow a kiss to the camera before ending it. I upload it on Instagram, tagging Indie in it and i hope she'll like it. I put my phone and guitar away and have a smile on my face for the rest of the day.

(Indie's POV)

I wake up the next morning with a smile on my face from mine and reece's facetime last night. Just thinking about him made me smile. He's so perfect in every way, i don't know how he does it.

I roll over and grab my phone to check my notifications. I see that Reece tagged me in a video and there was about a million comments. I watch his cover and he said it was for a special someone and because he tagged me, i'm guessing that someone was me. A grin forms on my face as i start to hear him sing the lyrics. After i watch this, i wish he would just come home already. I immediately facetime him even tho i was still in bed and looked like a mess. He picked up almost instantly.

"Reece, i just saw your cover, i love it!" i say happily.

"I'm glad!" He grins.

"Sorry i look like a mess, i literally just woke up."

"Oh shut up, you still look gorgeous." He smiles which makes me smile. Once again, we chat for a little bit more until i needed to go get ready. I was in the middle of a shower, thinking deep shower thoughts, when i realized something:

I'm in love with Reece Bibby. 

Hey! i got a little story about this chapter lol

Lauv's new album came out today and i was listening to his songs when for now came on. i thought it fit rindie perfectly and i started freaking out lol. it was never an OG chapter so i immediately started writing and got this!! I swear my hands have a mind of its own at this point cuz i didn't really think a lot about what i was going to write. let me know if you like it:)
