Laurel Lance is a lawyer by day and a spy by night. You're probably wondering why she's a spy? Well because someone got to make sure this city doesn't go to hell. No one knows she's spy only her father knows.

So let me tell you about her life. Her dad is a detective and pretty good one. Her sister... Well she's traveling through time, long story. Her mom left Laurel and her dad to move to Central City after her sister 'died' on the yacht, another long story. Also, her love life is complicated with a boy name Oliver Queen. He's complicated. He wants something then he doesn't think he deserves it.

"Laurel! I need your help!" A green-blue eye with dirty blonde came rushing in with case files.

"Since when do you need my help? The only time you need help is with girls." She rolled her eyes in disgust.

"Nope! If I need help with that I will go to Roy." He smiled innocently as he threw the files on her desk. "Can you look at these files for me please?" He pleaded with puppy eyes.

"Fine." She grabbed the files pretending she didn't care about him dating other girls before reading them for a good five minutes. "What exactly am I looking for?"

"Well is there anything there that can be used against me?" He crossed his arm over his chest puckering his lips as he always does around her.

"No, Oliver there isn't." She tossed him back the case files. "Thank you for wasting my time on your non-sense." She sat down avoiding eye contact with him just so she wouldn't give in with the kiss he wanted even though she wouldn't mind kissing him.

"Oh you're welcome." He watched her smirking. He knew how to make her  annoyed, happy, worried, any emotion really. "Hey, what are you doing tonight?" He took the case files leaning against her desk.

"I'm working." She watched him.

"At night?" He raised his eyebrows. "Are you just making an excuse not to go and hang with me?" He frowned with disappointment in his voice.

"No, Oliver. I actually have case files to look over, important ones." She looked him in his eyes making sure he knew she didn't want to argue with him. That's been their thing lately.

"Fine, I'll leave you." He looked at her for a few minutes hoping she would change her mind before leaving.

She let out a heavy sign going over the files. These past few months Oliver and Laurel have been arguing non stop, either about her dating guys that doesn't seem right for her or arguing about little things, ridiculous little things.

~2 hours later~

"Yes Mr. Merlyn?" Laurel walked in his office shutting the door behind her.

A man with blue eyes with light brown hair turned around in his rolling chair. "Hello, Laurel. I told you many times to call me Kendal." He smirked folding his hands together.

"And I've told you many times that's very unprofessional to call you by your first name Mr. Merlyn." She smirked back sitting down. He was always hitting on her or trying to get her in bed. It usually didn't bother her but lately he's been making more inappropriate commentss towards her.

"And yet I don't care." He watched her carefully. She could feel his eyes checking out every inch of her body.

"I'm sorry Mr. Merlyn, don't you think it's inappropriate to check out your employees?" She said with coldness in her voice while she raised an eyebrow.

"Ms. Lance I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable. It... It was an... A habit with beautiful girls like you around." He watched her before looking down biting his lip slightly.

She just watched him for a few minutes until she could get the words out of her mouth. She was disgusted by his behavior around her. "If you don't have anything to say to me important, I'm gonna go." She quickly got up fixing her suit jacket.

"Wait! I'm sorry I didn't mean to notice your ho...." He stopped himself before he could make things worse. "I actually have a mission for you and it may take longer than a usual mission. Oh and it may make you not want to take it." He looked at her. "Are you up for it?"

"What is the mission about?" She looked back furiously on what he was going to say. What could he possibly say to make her not want a mission.

"I need you to find out Oliver Queen secret." He kept looking at her studying her reaction.

"Wha... What?" She said trying to find the right words. "What makes you think he's hiding something?"

"Because my other spies seen him disappearing every so often."

"You had him spied on?!" She raised her voice a little.

"Yes! That's not important right now." He handed her a file. "We don't know if his disappearance are good or he's planning something bad."

She took the file, reading and looking at the pictures over and over again. She didn't know what to think. She knew Oliver half her life, what could he be possibly hiding something that she didn't know about but then again they really haven't been talking to each other a whole a lot. Mostly because she kept turning him down every time he ask her out. She just didn't want to get hurt again.

"Ms. Lance? If you don't want to take this mission I understand. I'll give it to another girl." He hold his hand out for the file.

"No, no. I want it." She said softly gathering her thoughts and emotions. "Besides I more likely to get him to tell me his secrets." She said holding the file close to her chest.

"Good, and I'm sorry I brought this up on you." He said actually sounding sorry.

She didn't answer him. She just walked out of his office thinking to herself. She finally got the courage to grab her phone to text him.

'Hey, are you still free to hang?'
