She watched him as he walked over to her. He just looked at her waiting for her to say or do something. She opened her mouth but nothing came out. Why couldn't she speak? She shouldn't feel this nervous.
"Umm...you have the key." He said softly reminding her as he looked around.
"Right, sorry." She turned facing the door as she unlocked it.
"Don't be." He watched her as they both walked in.
"Make yourself at home." She said as she set her stuff on her table as he made himself at home.
"I've haven't been here since-" He stopped talking because she interrupted him.
"Since Tommy broke up with me and we slept together." She said whispering while she remembered that day. That day was the best day of her night but at the same time it wasn't. She would do anything to bring back Tommy.
"Yes." He sat down with a frowned on his face.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to." She paused walking to the kitchen opening the freezer door grabbing a tube of rocky road ice cream with some spoons. She knew spilling out her emotions was never a good sign, it usually lead to kissing and sex. "Look I never gave you an explanation with everything that went down with Tommy." She said as she sat down besides him.
"You don't need to." He didn't look at her fearing on what she might say.
"You deserve it." She said as she calmly grabbing his chin making him face her. "Tommy died because of me. He came after me just to get me out of my work's building, to make sure I was safe. He knew I would be there." She paused while tears rolled down her cheeks. "Once he got there, he right away told me to run and he'll be right behind me. So that's what I did." She tried to finish but Oliver interrupt her.
"Laurel." He said softly looking at her with a frown.
"No Oliver, you need to hear this, so do I." She demanded while he nodded. "If I could I go back in time and tell him not to come for me, I would have." She started to cry silently wiping as many tears away from her cheeks. "I just couldn't handle the pain... It was too much. So I push everyone away including you." She stopped talking letting the silence sink in.
For several minutes they didn't say anything. They couldn't find the right words to make this conversation better. So she started eating the ice cream. Part of her wanted to leave or smack herself for starting this conversation. She just needed to say it out loud.
"Laurel, Tommy loved you. He always have. He died for you. He died so you could live." He looked over at her as he grabbed her hands.
"But he died knowing that I didn't love him like he wanted me to because I was in love with you." She blurted out as she looked back at him. "And I still am." She finally admitted.
He sat there staring at her. She knew she probably messed up big time. Maybe she didn't... Maybe this is good thing. She could have a chance to get close to him again. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't hav..."
He placed a kiss on her lips. "Shh." He whispered leaving his lips close to her lips while leaning his forehead forehead against hers. "It's my turn to talk."
"Okay." She said breathing harder as she closed her eyes.
"Laurel Lance I am sorry for hurting you multiple times. And I never meant to hurt you when I got back from that island... It breaks me to see how much I hurt you." He paused for a brief second. "There is no excuse for me to cheat on you especially with your sister no matter how scared I was taking the next step with you. You shouldn't have forgave me." He looked at her with regret in his eyes.
"Ollie, I forgave you a long time ago." She said softly looking back.
"Well I don't forgive myself." He looked away from her. She needs to make him see that he could forgive himself, that she want him to forgive himself.
She climbed on his lap kissing him passionately while he kissed back passionately. "You should forgive yourself Ollie." She bite his lip a little. "I will always love you."
He just looked at her cupping my face in his hands. "And I love you."
He kissed her before deepening the kiss. He got up as he picked her up. She wrapped her arms around his neck and legs around his waist. They kept kissing not wanting to pull away from each other. A few seconds they both pulled away to catch their breath while he walked in her room. He took her shirt off as she took his off. He carefully laid down with her on top while taking her bra off. They both kissed passionately continuing on further.
