CHAPTER 11: Overbearing Tendencies

He paces in front of me now, a dark expression adorned on his features as he tenses and un-tenses too quickly for my tired eyes right now, before he asks, "What could you know?" He mutters under his breath, before turning to my desktops and he finally connects the dots.

"Nothing yet, I'm still working on it." I mutter and he's suddenly sitting in front of me, shaking his head placing both arms on either side of my legs.

"I don't want you working on it. Pierce is dangerous, he's more than dangerous, he's psychotic, Olive. You don't even know half the things he's done." He says quickly, my eyes narrow in at him.

What about what you've done? I so wanted to ask but, he merely looks at me strongly, before his phone vibrates and it diverts his attention from me quickly as he stands and walks towards it.

He swears under his breath before gathering another bag he seemed to have stashed in the corner with his boxes, he turns to me, "You stay in here, I'm scheduled for training today with the others, please, don't overexert yourself, you can use my laptop to watch a movie. The code's Navyseal1." He says quickly, placing a kiss on my hairline before he struts right out.

Oh, he's just sealed his fate now.

I dart towards his laptop, entering the code and retrieving another USB, I open his files, though when I see how many there are, I roll my eyes and instead copy the three discs in his file directory. A knock towards my door has me hiding the laptop but, the person had already see it and he chuckles.

"Sneaky, but I approve." Pierce's voice echoes as he glances around my room and he smirks more.

"I take it he's moved in?" He questions and I shake my head with a scowl.

"Do you have the power to get it all back to his original room before he finishes training...and change the lock on my door?" I say quickly, placing the laptop on the table as he moves around, flicking one of my desk drawers.

"Most definitely, it's not very appropriate of him considering you too don't get along so easily." He says, looking through Aaron's things.

I snort, "That's an understatement. I wanna know who put him up to this?" I ask him and he turns to me now, raising an eyebrow with an amused expression.

"I have a feeling this was all on his own." He murmurs in answer, straightening my mattress for me. I take a look at it for a second before I mutter in annoyance,

"And can I get my stuff back too?" He nods with a chuckle before turning back to me as he sees Aaron's screen behind me.

"Download complete, let me know if you find anything out of the ordinary?" He says, suggestively as he stares intently at the screen, I remove the USB, re-clipping it back on.

I nod once, "If you told me what I was looking for specifically, I won't have to rifle through three whole discs to find it?" I suggest to him, but he merely leans down, closing Aaron's laptop and lifts it, placing it back in his rightful place, Aaron's bag.

"I'll send the keywords through email and don't worry, all his stuff will be back with Branson's by the hour. While you're recovering, I want you to do more recall on Owen Cruiser, I watched your rifle shooting a few days ago, he's a kill mission but, you'll be doing it alone. I know you can do it but, I also don't know if I can trust Aaron with you now. He's losing reliability by the minute." He mutters the last part under his breath.

I stand slowly, "I would like to start advanced combat training, the second I'm better, preferably?" I tell him and he smiles, kneeling before me.

"You're still very young." He notes and I scrunch my nose.
