Day after "death"

Jack pov:

I wake up with my blurry vision and a massive headache. "What the hell" I mumbled.

"Look at his finally awake" Gaten said. He sat on the old ripped up couch that was losing its color.

"I thought I was dead" I sat up slowly. "You would have been if it wasn't for me" Gaten turned. Jack rolled his eyes .

"What no thanks Gaten for LITERALLY, saving my life" he grinned. "Why should I thank you, you literally almost ruined my relationship"

"Buuut, you guys are still together" he stood up walking up to jack. "She's cute you know, how she balled her eyes out as they dragged her away from you, not wanting her to see you die, well, thought you would die" Gaten shrugged.

I rolled my eyes. "Speaking of her I need to get back to her" I said starting to get up. "No" Gaten demanded. "Are you crazy? Everyone thinks your dead, you cant go back now" I looked at him in confusion. "What do you mean I cant go back?"

"You think its smart to go back live your normal life after everyone thinks you were murdered. They will know that we killed chase, I killed chase I could be put in prison jack."

"You didn't have to kill him, thats on you! You cant stop me from seeing the girl that im in love with and could have lost because of the stupid shit YOU did!" I stopped and took a couple breaths and put my hand on my side.

"You cant go, Im sorry jack you cant go see her, you have stay known to be dead" Gaten frowned. "But I love her Gaten, Just because you don't have someone to love doesn't mean you can stop me from loving the person that I love" I sighed.

Gaten looked down. "You can't leave, End of discussion" he said looking at me dead in the eyes and then walking out.

"What are you my dad?" I mumbled.

Later..

Gaten eventually came back in and I laid on the couch just thinking about all the shit in my life that has happened. Gaten came to my side and sat down.

"I'm not saying you can't go see her, she just can't see you" I looked over at him. "That just makes no sense, you want me to stock my own girlfriend?" I asked. "Jack we seriously can not be seen. Ever. We have to live on without our loved ones and just get through life, we can go our but we cant be seen ok, thats it" I sighed. "fine"
