Percy POV
Chaos had told me I needed to find new heroes to help save the planet from his powerful sibling. Chaos had never mentioned this being before and I went to scour the library for references to him but I came up with nothing other then a vague mention of him being sealed away.
Anyway, I'd headed off to find the first of these heroic figures. A Viking warrior known as Torvi, daughter of Thor. Her mother was a child of Odin, making Torvi extremely powerful. Odin sent me a dossier explaining how fearing for her safety, he'd sent her to a remote part of Greenland so she could live a relatively normal life. It was there that I now headed along with Leo,Calypso, Jason and Piper.
We were told we'd either find her at the local athletics club or at home, so I scouted out the home with Calyspo and Piper, while Leo and Jason headed to the sports club.
We arrived and knocked on the door. A beautiful red haired woman with fair skin and green eyes in a yellow dress opened up.
She was clearly not someone to underestimate; as she sensed the power we had and immediately clapped her hands, a spear and shield appearing in each.
"Who are you and what do you want?! The gods told us they would leave us alone, but I'll fight you if I must!"
"At ease Miss," Piper spike as she used her charmspeak to coax the woman down. She then explained the situation and the mother, after much reluctance, agreed to send her daughter along. "She is stubborn like her father though, good luck persuading her to join you even if I told her to do so." The mother responded.
Before I could say anything else, I got an iris message from Leo. I could see the figure of Jason desperately fending off an angry girl in slight fear but with a spear and shield similar to her mother and Jason seemed to be on the losing end.
"Hey Percy, we could really use your help here buddy!" Leo yelled as he flew a flaming hammer at the the girl, but she managed to stop it in mid air and throw it back telekinetically, knocking Leo over and ending the message.
"I'm coming with you, let's go!" The girl's mother spoke and introduced herself as Cigredela. We then used void travel to open up a portal, dropping us right into the middle of the fight.
Jason was lying down KO'ed; while Piper and Calypso ran over, Leo leapt away from a spear thrust and sprinted to me, jumping behind me and using me as a human shield. "HELP PERCY SHE'S GONNA KILL ME!" He yelled.
The girl stopped in front of me and leant on her spear, breathing heavily. She was about 5 foot six with auburn hair and green eyes and she held a beautiful but deadly looking spear alongside an equally impressive shield.
"You people are tough, hardest opponents I've faced since I dueled my father to get him to agree to my duel with the king of Jotunheim."
Torvi then let out a gasp as she registered her mother's presence. She then took a deep breath and held up her spear towards me. "I see my mother is with you, kidnapping her and attacking me?! Wrong move there bud!" She then swung at me with the spear, fast enough even I struggled to duck under it.
I leapt back and took out my mace, as she charged towards me, I controlled the ground to imprison her feet, preventing her from moving. Torvi snarled and raised her hands, I heard thunder begin to book.
"Wait! Wait! We come in peace! We need your help!" I explained as I put my weapon away. I explained the situation to her and after some bickering with her mother she agreed to help us, provided she could come along with us to recruit the other heroes.
"I've rarely left this town, other than on missions to prove myself to the Norse gods. I need to broaden my horizons if I'm to help you with this threat. "
We shook hands and she left with her mother to make final preparations for travelling, letting us know she make her own way to Camp Half-blood. That was where I headed to next, I needed to speak to Annabeth per Chaos's instructions, she would know best how to find the legendary hero of the Aztecs.
