Laura's POV
I heard the front door open and then the sound which was very familiar to me which was throwing up. Now the only people they o know was out would be Alex and Layla but it sounded like a girl which meant that it must've been Layla.
I knocked on the bathroom door but I'm not sure she heard me because the sound that she made drowned out the knocking.
I opened the door and saw her with her head over the toilet on her knee. I kneeled beside her and gave her back a stroke while holding her hair back. "Let it out."
She stopped throwing up and sat up. "That feels better."
"Do you want me to get you anything like some water?"
"No no I'm fine, I'm okay now." She nodded and stood up pretending like she didn't just throw up her past two meals.
"Maybe you should spend the day in bed if you're coming down with something and then you can get better before it gets worse."
"No no, I promise you I'm fine, I'll sleep it off but I'm fine I promise and you don't need to worry okay?"
"Okay, but I think you should eat something as well since you got rid of some meals there."
"Yeah.... after I've had my nap I'll eat. Now I've got some sleep to be doing." She sighed and went into her room but before she closed the door she put her head in. "You'll be a good mum." And with that she left and I Assume that she went to bed.
I got up and went downstairs. Yes I had McDonald's for breakfast but I'm eating for three which meant that when I was hungry I needed to fill myself up before I started getting grouchy.
I got a snack from the cupboard and then I heard bickering from the next room over and me being my nosey self wanted to know what was going on and who it was. So I pressed my ear to the door and I heard four voices. Everyone else who was in this house were trying to be quiet when speaking about something but it wasn't working.
"Where did you drop her off Jacob?" I heard Isaac whisper in a harsh tone
"It doesn't matter where I dropped her off I made a promise and you all know that I wouldn't break a promise." Jacob tried to keep his defence strong.
"Well you promised that you would tell us if she was hiding something from us because we all know that she would tell you and Alex and when he gets back he's going to get dragged into this conversation." Alfie said to try and get the truth out of him.
"No no you can't do that because one she'll kill me if any of you knew and tell Alex is in charge so he'll make my life he'll until I told him which would then lead into me telling him and Layla being mad at me and never trusting me again."
"Well you should've thought of that when you stopped her off at the mystery location." Micheal piped up.
This is another thing which I love about the family is that they'll always try and protect each other under any circumstances. So I'm happy that my babies are apart of this family. I smiled to myself and I walked into the living room where I sat down and started to eat my snack which kind of helped with my anger but after a while it made me feel pretty nauseous. So I decided to lay down.
I heard a door slam and it was downstairs so I presumed that their 'secret' conversation was over and it probably didn't end well. Isaac and Alfie came into the living room and didn't say anything because it looked like they were pretty angry, so Layla went out I really don't see what the big deal was about it.
"So... you both want to tell me what's up and why your both throwing a strop."Isaac put my feet on his lap and took a deep breath.
"Layla went out and Jacob knows where but he's not telling us and you might think that we need to calm down because she just went out but, she just went out to go on that date with Noah and look what happened, she's going to court in three weeks and she has to face him, we just don't want her in pain again."
