It was the end of the first week, 1 week away from Corbyn's deadline. In some ways he wanted it to go faster, to get it over and done with and in other ways he wished it would take an eternity. So when he woke up and it was the day his first week finished, he wasn't sure how to act.
The blonde still wasn't making much of an appearance downstairs and his mum was getting worried, but she was also worried about her own thing.
Her and Jeff have been getting very close. Saskia felt like he was definitely the one. They weren't moving fast in the normal active relationship but their bond was tight, she was almost certain they would be married in less than a year.
All this gave her, her own things to worry about. How would she tell tell her kids. She knows they definitely aren't over their fathers death, especially Ashley. She was worried they would all be upset, not wanting him in their lives because he would never be able to fill the gap that their father made.

Ashley was observant, she noticed many things, even things that are extremely small, so when she noticed Corbyn had been cooped up in his room for much longer than usual she started to worry.
He suffered from depression when they were younger after their dad died and she was especially worried he was falling back into the dark hole he had crawled out of, well for the most part.
Ashley and Corbyn were also the closest, they just seemed to talk easier, so she went to go and talk. The blonde girl knocked on Corbyn's white washed wood door, not too loudly as to startle him but loud enough for him to hear.
"yes?" Corbyn called out, his voice sounding emotionless. "Can i come in Corb?" The younger asked, her sweet voice reaching Corbyn's ears and the boy actually smiled. "Yeah of course Ash, just give me a sec" The girl replied with a small ok as she heard shuffling.
Moments later Corbyn's door swung open, showing the disheveled blonde along with a messy room. Ashley, deciding she was not goi anywhere near that room, grabbed the boys wrist and pulled him into her room, shutting and locking the door.
"what's up?" She asked nonchalantly. "do we have to talk about this right now?" Corbyn said, suddenly becoming quiet and interested in his sisters duvet that he was sitting on, tracing the pattern with his finger. "Corbyn" The girl whined, dragging out the n. "Ashley" Corbyn mimicked, dragging the y out. "Please, Corbyn. Remember i'm here and you can talk to me. Don't act like nothing is wrong beca-" "Because you can tell and you know yeah blah blah blah" Corbyn interrupted, finishing Ashley's sentence for her.
"Yeah exactly, so tell me what's going on." She replied, moving over towards her brother and sitting on the bed next to him. "i'm scared" He replies sheepishly. "don't be scared, it's ok. it's just me, Ash, i won't tell anyone." She responded, putting her hand on his shoulder.
"Ash, i'm- um gay." Corbyn said, looking up at her to see her reaction but before he could even look at her he was being tackled onto the bed. "i love you Corbyn, oh my gosh ahhh. this is so exciting. i'm so proud of you!" She squealed into his chest and she hugged him tight. "not too loud jeez" He said and they laughed.
Corbyn hugged back before pushing her up by her arms and looking her in the eyes. "thank you Ash, i love you too and i'm so happy you accept me. that lifted a huge weight off my shoulders. But i'm scared to tell mom, i'm doing it in a week but i still have no clue how to tell her." The older blonde said, looking at his smiling sister. "of course i would accept you, i'm so happy for you. Don't worry about that shit now, let's go to the mall, maybe we can find some cute guys." She says and wiggles her eyebrows. Corbyn laughs at his sister in which she soon joins in.
"fine, let's go" He agreed and so they dash outside and into Corbyn's car, driving to the mall to scope out the guys.
