Y/n's POV
I finally got up early, mainly due to my overwhelming excitement to be starting school. I hopped downstairs to see my mom on the couch just sitting motionless. I grabbed the breakfast she made for me and sat down next to her.
"Mom...mom are you okay?"
"..."
"Mom...I'll be okay if that's what you're worrying about."
"Y/n....I know you will, but I don't know if I'll be okay..." my mom sniffled.
"...huh?"
"....when your father and brother...erg..died.." she chocked her tears.
"Mom...I'm sorry to leave you all alone for school, and hero stuff, but it's my dream...plus I'll be home everyday after school" I reassured her.
"I know...I know...I just wish you didn't want to be a hero, but now that I say it..I'm just being selfish"
"....it's okay mom, I have to go but...I love you" I hugged my mom.
"..love you too. Please be safe" my mom daughter hugging me back.

I left the house to see a green haired boy standing in front of my house pacing. Hey isn't that the boy from the exam?
"HEY! your the boy from the exam right!" I asked walking up to him.
"A-AH! Y-yeah, I'm Izuku midoriya...and I u-uh I just wanted to thank you for helping me" he stuttered handing me a small basket with mochi and other sweets in it.
"WOW! T-THIS IS TOO MUCH, OH MY GOD THANKS midoriya!" I said giving him a hug.
I stepped back, and took his arm.
"Hey! I see you got into UA as well so let's go!"
"R-r-right!"
~Time skip~
The duo had made it to the classroom and opened the door, to be immediately greeted by yelling between a blueish haired boy with glasses and a blonde haired male with his feet propped on the table. Y/n stepped forward to get a closer look and found a familiar face.
"Hey! Katsuki!!" Y/n said approaching the boy.
"Y-you know kacchan y/n?!" Midoriya stuttered in shock.
"Yeah we met on the day of the exams! Glad to know I know people in my class!" Y/n happily bounced.
Bakugo looked at the girl, a scowl on his face trying to cover his happiness that they were in the same class.
"Yeah whatever.." Bakugo said looking away.
The blue haired male introduced himself to y/n, and soon y/n bursting with excitement decided to go around the room introducing herself to all of her new classmates. She decided she'd sit next to bakugo since she knew him the best, class hadn't started yet so she went up to bakugo, and sat on his desk trying to strike up a conversation.
"So katsuki! I'm really glad we're in the same class" y/n smiled at him.
"Who told you to call me katsuki?" Bakugo barked.
"Oh, I thought it'd be fine for me to call you katsuki since we're friends?" Y/n placed a finger on her chin.
"Ugh, whatever I don't care enough to continue this conversation" Bakugo said turning away from the girl.
"Alright! I'll leave you alone now katsuki!" The girl said hopping off the desk to go socialize with other students.
Part of bakugo was relieved that the annoying girl was gone, but another part of him wanted her back on his desk, and talking to him. He watched as she ran over to the other girls in the room and formed a small group.
