S2 ~chapter 16~ "My girl"

Y/N'S POV

I needed to get focused, everyone sat in the stands currently watching izuku and a general studies student named Shinsou fighting. I zoned out thinking of a possible strategy for my fight against kaminari, I think I could easily push him out by slowing time down, but I have a hard time holding my breath for a longer time. I need to work on that for sure. I walked out into the hallway to think while I paced around, trying to get serious. As I was walking lost in my thoughts I bumped into someone, I looked up to apologize and saw two glaring red eyes staring back at my e/c ones.

"Sorry, katsuki" I mumbled and went to walk away, but he grabbed my arm.

"What's going on? Why are you upset all of a sudden?" He said in his usual low growl.

"What do you mean? You've been avoiding me" I snapped, getting frustrated.

"Damnit y/n, how am I supposed to look you in the eyes after I made us place second in the Calvary battle"

"What are you talking about, you're really upset because we got second? Katsuki I don't care about that, I was just worried that maybe...you realized that you didn't really like me" I sighed.

"Why in the hell wouldn't I like you dumbass, I'm not one to have wishy washy feelings. When I say I like you, I mean it okay?" He let go of my wrist and instead pulled me into a hug.

"Okay" I whispered and melted into the embrace.

"My fight is coming up, so I'll see you in the stands" I smiled and released him.

"Yeah, I'll be cheering the loudest out of everyone. Now go kick dunce faces ass"

There I stood ways away from kaminari who had a smirk plastered on his face. This should be a simple win, I was confident in that. I just need to make sure I dodge his attacks and then just get close enough to activate my quirk.

"GOOOOOOOOO" present mic yelled and he immediately sent a wave of electricity my way, I held my breath and ran to the side avoiding his electricity while getting closer to him. Time resumed and he was already short circuiting, well this is way easier than I thought. I ran over to him and pushed him out of bounds.

"Y/L -pretty easily- WINS!!" Present mic boomed and I smiled looking towards the crowd, my first round was a complete success.

"HELL YEAH, THATS MY GIRL" I heard a very familiar voice scream from the stands, I locked eyes with katsuki and grinned holding my hands in two peace signs.

I looked over at kaminari, glad that I didn't hurt him. He was carried off and I walked back as well, feeling an overwhelming amount of confidence. Is this how katsuki feels all the time?

When I came back I was praised by my classmates, katsuki hopped out of his seat and wrapped me up in his arms and spun me around.

"You fucking rendered him useless you beautiful idiot, you're the shit!" He chuckled.

"Thanks! I learned from the best" I smiled as he put me down.

After a few more rounds it was katsuki and ochako's fight, I was nervous in my seat. Rooting for both my friend and my boyfriend, the fight began and everyone knew if ochako was able to touch bakugo she'd have an automatic win.

As she tried to get close to him each time he blasted her back, if this continued she'd be knocked out for sure. Soon enough present mic brought to our attention the cloud or rubble floating above the stadium. Clever girl.

"RELEASE" she yelled and the rubbles began to rain down, this was her opening to win. That was until katsuki lifted his arm and released a huge explosion burning the rock and rubble right before it reached him. The whole audience was blown back from it, and once the smoke cleared ochako was on the ground unconscious.

"BAKUGO WINS!!!" Present mic announced, and although I was happy for him I was more concerned for the brunette.

I ran to katsuki and hugged him congratulating him on his win, rushing to see if ochako was okay.

"Why are you in such a hurry, cant I get a victory kiss?" He smirked.

I flushed with embarrassment, this is a normal thing that couples do. And since me and katsuki are a couple now, we're gonna have to kiss!

I leaned forward and pressed my lips against his nose, quickly I squeaked and ran down the hall looking for the room ochako would be in.

BAKUGO'S POV

She kissed my nose? Damn, she's too adorable I don't know if I even deserve to be this happy. I was about to walk back to the stands but as I turned I was face to face with deku.

"Kaachan, is y/n headed to see uraraka?" He said in a cold tone.

"Why should I tell you? And why are you following my girl around like a damn dog anyways. Back. The fuck. Off." I growled.

"You're smart enough to know how I feel kaachan, I've already told you. Just because your dating doesn't mean I don't still care about her" he sighed and walked away from me.

That little bitch is still going after her, I need to keep her close. Or else I'm running the risk of losing her...
