After that "incident" in the recording room, Y/n thanked them for their hospitality (all with Tsukasa clinging to her and not letting go) and headed to class. Throughout the school day, she couldn't stop thinking about Tsukasa.

She doodled him in her sketchbook, textbook, notebook, and other places that she wasn't supposed to draw on.

Why? She didn't really know.

Finally, school was let out, and Y/n subconsciously found herself at the door to the recording room. She sighed before raising her hand to knock on the door.

However, she didn't get the chance to knock.

The door swung open, revealing Tsukasa, smiling broadly.

"Y/n!" He exclaimed and tackled her into a hug. "I knew you'd come visit me! Are ya gonna stay the night again?"

"Oh, hi, Y/n." Came Sakura's voice from inside the room. "Sorry about Tsukasa. He's been pretty... hyper since you left."

"Of course I have!" Tsukasa said, head resting on Y/n's shoulder. She felt her face grow a little warm. "I've missed yoooou, Y/n. Sakura said you wouldn't visit today, but I really hoped you would, and you did!" He giggled and led Y/n inside, babbling on and on.

"Slow down, Tsukasa." Sakura said calmly. "Y/n can't understand a word you're saying."

"Oh no, it's fi-" Suddenly, Y/n felt her phone buzz in her bag. She smiled apologetically and took it out.

Then, she froze.

Mom: Where have you been?

Y/n breathed in. Of course, she had forgotten about mom. She had known she couldn't stay with Tsukasa and his friends forever, but...

She didn't want to go home.

"I-I'm sorry." She said tensely. "Something's come up. I've gotta go home." Tsukasa blinked at her.

"Hey, that reminds me." He said thoughtfully, resting his head in his hands. "Why didn't you wanna go home yesterday?" Y/n tensed.

"Well, I..." Should she tell? Maybe they could help her, free her from her mother, and she could stay with them forever...

No. That couldn't happen. They shouldn't get involved in her problems.

"I didn't want to go home yesterday because... I had chores to do, and I really didn't want to do them." She looked down at her lap. "I'm sorry, it was really selfish of me to-"

"Don't lie."

Y/n froze, and looked slowly up at Tsukasa. His face was serious, his eyes for once free of amusement. He wasn't smiling.

"What?" She asked weakly.

"I said don't lie." He repeated. "It's really obvious, Y/n. You're not selfish at all; you're just too nice." He shook his head. "Clearly, it's something different. Now, tell me the truth."

Y/n's hands began to tremble. She clenched them into fists to keep them from doing so, but it didn't work.

"I... I can't tell you. I'm sorry."

Then, Y/n felt herself be pulled gently over. She found herself leaning on Tsukasa, the boy's arm wrapped around her shoulder.

"Please." He said firmly. "Please tell me. If something's wrong, we can work it out, okay?"

Y/n sat there for a few moments. Then she began to cry.

"Fine..." She whispered. "I'll tell you."
