It's not like I waited every bit of seven years for this moment . Since I was 13 I pictured my self graduating from this school. I was blessed to have a fully paid tuition for school but that also meant that I'd get the end of the stick to find a place to go.

"You sure your good to go baby."
"Yes milk dud I'm ready to go," I said to my dad fake rubbing his bald head
"don't ever call me that again"
My dad raised me my whole life but when I was 4 he'd never image raising two girls on his own and leaving the one he cherished vows with behind. When I was seven he met Lyssa a strong black women he deserved and her daughter, together, all of us became a family id never trade and constantly thanked God for.
Lyssa entered "Awn we hardly had you back for a full year and you leaving so soon, I'm sad. But couldn't be more proud". She had squeezed me so tight I thought it was gonna pass out.
"Love you, mom, I said I'll face chat y'all every day".
"facetime" my big sister Larayah corrected me like always concerned about my social life and love life when I had it at home. she continued. "you such a lame I hope you find something in college before you dry out."
"I wish you'd dry out" my sister Xaviera interrupted "acting like we don't hear you in ya luh boyfriend"
Larayah was embarrassed but happy our parents were waiting for me in the car." shut up 8"
She called Xaviera 8 because of my name and even tho I'm younger when  Lyssa introduced us she always accidentally called Xaviera 8.
I gave my sisters tight squeezes as I left off towards my dream.

When I got to campus I was excited except I was told I had no dorm something happened with the dorm housing . I wasn't complaining though since I got to sleep at a five-star hotel until my 'problem' was situated. In the meantime, I went to the boxing camp for my first year on the team. I have been boxing since I was ten and It helped me cope without having my biological mother.
"Damn new girl you got hands. Hey my names Tia."
"Thanks" I said with a slight laugh "I'm Seven".
A guy who I assumed to be friends with Tia turned around to us "Deadass like the number"?
I laughed and shook  his hand. "Well wassup I'm Kaiser."
Soon our coach paired us up for mock matches I was nervous but not afraid Because fighting for me was my comfort zone.
"Okay" said  Coach " Well do are same pairs form last week except I want the newbies together." he was almost cut off
"Excuse me what the hell, you know we the only new people I need a challenge J I don't want to box her." A fit light-skinned girl about the same height as I complained like I gave her reason to.
" Your welcome to leave Bri and here it's Coach." I wondered what he meant but didn't care so I volunteered us first to teach 'Bri' a lesson. Of course, she got mad.
" You think this is cute your gonna regret-" I wasn't one bit scared so when he wrong the being bell I punched her I was to fast for her. To even get a hit I didn't even have to hit her just have her thinking I would.
"Damn girl why you take the ass she doesn't have then Hand it to ha like that." Kaiser, Tia, I laughed then Bri shoved me trying to make it as an accident but I don't play like that.
"Um excuse you! She better be lucky I hardly touched her I don't even know her." Tia and Kaiser both helped me pick my things Bri made fall then Tia asked me to join her and Jaylen out to eat the next day.

Jamal's Pov
She called me to her office and I was kinda nervous.
"Son I'm proud of you but I just think you're putting too much stress on yourself." I sat down trying to be an adult hoping she hadn't changed her mind. "Mom my grades are good I got promoted and I still have time for myself I'm okay I already paid this month's rent."
"With the help of Jermaine." My brother came in and took a seat shaking his head.
" Ma I offered to help Jamal he had all the money."
"I just don't know if he's ready for this responsibility".
"Jermaine was ready at 18 and I'm 19 why can't you trust me." as me and my mom went back and forth Jermaine interrupted. " Guys!"
"what," My mom and I said. "How about he rent out the extra room this semester 50/50, to the campus student who applied for a dorm and didn't get one that way he can have enough money for the rent and himself and mom you'll figure out the housing  dorm situation."
We all agreed at the idea and I left to pick up my girl.
"Hey-"
"What took you so long damn"
"Come on Bri not today"
"Not today? You know what imma just go". I grabbed Brianna's arm gently she made it clear she doesn't trust me when if anyone should feel that way it should be me but I didn't care I softly kiss her and explained the meeting I had.

"So long story short I'm getting a roommate".
"Oh that sucks I hope the guy isn't junky or freaky."
"Actually it's up for anyone at campus." I saw Bri wasn't so happy to hear that so I changed the subject.
"How was your day?"
"Aggie, J made me go against a bitchy newbie who couldn't fight."
"Word but even though you not new to fighting your new to the team."
" Sure but I had showed ha wassup".  I pulled into Pjs Cooking and we headed inside.

Tia picked picked me up and we arrived at Pj's Cooking I was excited to try out after all the hype from her and Kaiser. The food wasn't even hear but I was felling the hype the entrées were amazing just the whole entire set up.
" Who said evil bitches was aloud in Pj's." Me and Tia turned around to see Bri had walked in I didn't look for long tho cause I got an notification. Tia replied to Kai "and how she end up with Jermaine brother is funny." I screamed "yes!"
I thought in my head but it was really loud. "Girl What is you doing?" Tia looked up at me. "Dean sent me an email for a place to live near campus."
