The headache Rory Gilbert sported that morning was something unexpected. She felt like she rolled out of the clutches of death itself, which is ironic, considering she was a vampire and those things shouldn't phase her anymore. Then again, she supposed that being undead didn't excuse you from hangovers that you get from impulsively going on a drinking binge after realising that you still kind of wanted to bang your hot, murderer ex-boyfriend that almost sacrificed you over an altar of fire (and actually sacrificed both your sister and your aunt!). All in all, Rory's life was pretty much in shambles and she had no idea how to go about it - I mean, there weren't any books about how to deal with Original hybrids, were they?
Speaking about Originals, Rory's phone was buzzing insistently on her bedside table. She sat up, groggily grabbing the phone to see who it was that was calling her. REBEKAH stared back at her. Rory blinked, rubbing her eyes in an attempt to clear her head. What the hell was Klaus' sister doing calling her so early in the morning, and more specifically, how the hell did Rebekah get her number?
"Hello?" Rory asked, hesitance tinging her tone as she answered the phone. She was a little scared of Rebekah, she had to admit - especially when the Original found out that she had been lying to her brother all summer.
"Rory!" Rebekah's voice flittered through the receiver. "Thank god, where the bloody hell are you? I'm outside your house."
"My house?" Rory's eyes almost bulged out of their sockets as she pushed herself off her bed. She grabbed the first sweater that she could find, pulling it over her head to cover the camisole and sleep shorts. She made her way down the stairs, her eyes meeting Rebekah's through the window of her door. "What are you doing at my house?"
Rebekah ended the call as Rory swung open the door. "My horridious cow of a brother actually left me here," the blonde scoffed. She then let a smile creep on her face. "Which means, I am your new roommate. Invite me in, please."
"No, are you insane?" Rory gave Rebekah an incredulous look. "You bit my sister!"
"Oh, she'll get over it. She has a vampire boyfriend, doesn't she? He can heal her right up... oh wait," Rebekah smirked. "Forgot he has his humanity off."
Rory face-palmed as she grabbed onto Rebekah's arm, stepping out of her doorway. She closed the door behind her, leading her down the driveway. "You can't stay at my house, Rebekah. You don't even like me,"
"I don't really like anybody," Rebekah shrugged.
"Okay, that's great - but you still can't stay here. My sister doesn't like you and I, for one, am not the biggest fan of you either," Rory responded.
"Well, where the hell else am I going to stay?"

Rory swung open the door to the Salvatore boarding house, holding an arm out for Rebekah to enter. It didn't take long for the blonde to realise where they were going - she wasn't exactly unhappy with Rory's plan; she was honestly wondering why she hadn't thought about it herself. The various shopping bags were flung in Rory's direction, the brunette left to clumsily grab at the bags as she stopped in front of Damon, who had a questioning look on his face.
