The deeds most loved by Allah (are those) done regularly, even if they are small

20-02-2020

(A year later)

Sky growled in anger, the trees shed tears and I inhaled its sweet petrichor smell. Sipping the cappuccino, I stared out of the messy glass. You must've enjoyed my years of story and would've wondered why did I go through so much of difficulties and what I'm doing here alone in this quite place. I know you're all waiting for an explanation from me. Thanks for living with me throughout my journey. But before you could cook something in your head, let me tell you something. I've changed. Changed into good. My pasts has overturned me into a good and taught me how to overcome the obstacles and the top most secret tip to overcome it is by going through it. Just face it.

I blinked as she waved her hand infront of me. "Sorry for being late."

"No excuses, just get another cup of cappuccinoe." I replied. She chuckled and ordered 2 cups of cappuccinoes and a chocolate pizza.

"So, Wassup? Why did you call me here." I asked raising my eyebrows.

"I don't know where to start but this is something serious. Please help me to get started." She said a bit serious.

"Really? If you don't know how to start, then start from the ending." I replied winking.

"Stop it lady, I'm serious." She said. Okay, y'll must be wondering who is 'she'. Let me tell you this is my best friend Hima. She only knows how to test one's patience. I know her right, she doesn't have anything to say so she simply start up the conversation by being this serious. A funny girl who makes everyone serious. Sounds weird!

"Laiha, this time I'm seriously serious yaar. Just listen to me," She sounded more serious.

"Then spell, yaar." I replied imitating her. I know she would just say something lame and will make me go mad but this time just by seeing her flustered made me suspicious.

"Huh! Aren't you going to start?" I groaned.

"I'm a bit shy." She said. Omy! The great Hima bint Hameed is shy. I couldn't control this. I need someone beside me to share this laughter.

"I'm getting engaged with Fairooz. Last week he and his dad had visit my dad at his workplace. Then they all had planned and invited them to my house. They came, chatted and left without giving a single hint of proposal. Yesterday night my mum had indirectly spoke to me about this. I felt something fishy and being the curious girl carried all the certain information about this from my little brother." She said in a go.

"Are you really serious?" I asked not knowing how to pretend. Actually, I'm excited but at the same time I couldn't bottle this excitement inside me. I squealed in excitement.

"Okay, then what are you going to wear for your engagement?" I asked and she gave me a death glare.

"Stop Laiha, I expected you to tease me but you're head over heels about this."

"Now you want me to tease you?" I throw my hands to the air and added, "Shouldn't I be happy for my best friend's engagement."

"I want you to get married before my marriage." She said looking so down.

"Hey, are you crazy? Allah has blessed you with everything so just accept it before he takes away." I said in a convincing tone.

"I don't want him." She said sipping her capuccinoe.

She was right. She never liked him. He was our senior in our collage and the way he pranked her, teased will only make her go upset with him. Hima is gorgeous with beautiful blue eyes. Her pink lips and a tiny mole on her cheek makes her more cute. She's tall but skinny. Ofcourse she loves shopping but I don't like because it just remembers me of my past. She loves travelling, whilst I'm scared as it gives me fear and feel unpleasant. Also, I'm not that reserved as my parents doesn't like the idea of me going out alone. They're right. They already lost their daughter and they didn't want anything to happen for me either. I feel like they're hiding something from me. Although the time has passed, yet I feel like those days had happen yesterday. Years has passed and I still remember those days without any blur.
