Applejack walked in, and knocked on the door. Aunt Orange opened the door and Applejack walked in. "Aunt Orange! Uncle Orange! Thank y'all so much fer lettin' me stay!" she said. "Y'all? Hahaha! Oh, isn't she just the living end!" Aunt Orange says, laughing. "How Quaint!" Uncle Orange chimed in. Aunt Orange began ruffling Applejack's hair.
"No fear, my darling. We'll have you acting like a true Manehattenite in NO time!" she says, and takes her into a room. She set Applejack up in front of a mirror. "Okay, first of all, let's get rid of the hat." Aunt Orange said, throwing Applejack's hat into the corner. Applejack bit her lip: that hat had been given to her from her mother!
She let it be and listened to Aunt Orange some more. "Now darling, in a few days, a very important lot of ponies are going to be coming for a visit. I would love it if you were properly mannered for that. Oh, and dear, we should get rid of these red bands. Your hair should be down and brushed daily!" she nagged.
She pulled out the bands and brushed A.J's hair. It was very tangly, so it took some time, but after a while, it looked like she had the mane of a fashion model.
"Now, deary, go clean up. I'll show you to your room beforehoof, however."
