15. THE GIRL OF MY DREAMS

( Guddan's P.O.V )

Red.??
No Blue suits better.

Nahh.!!  Green.?
Arghh.! I'll look like a walking forest.

Now I'm gonna cry.

I can't fuckin decide what to wear on my first date.
I rolled my eyes at myself as I glanced around.
It literally looks like a small bomb has been exploded in my closet.
I sighed in defeat and plopped down on the bed.
I think I need Aanya's help after all.

I leaned against the headboard and my mind drifted back to the eve of valentine.
A slight blush crept upon my cheeks as I remembered those blissful moments with Akshat,
A smile on instinct made it's way to my face.
My phone's screen lit up depicting an incoming text.
I almost fell out of bed when I saw it was Akshat's message.
At this moment I don't know why but a small part of me became insecure.

What if Akshat says, it was not true,
What if all that date thing was just a momentry reaction.
What if he is texting to tell me that it's not serious.
What if....
My mind clouded with all the possible negative " What ifs ".
I breathed shakily & gazed at the text.
I don't know for how much time I just stared blankly at one text & out of no where all of a sudden I began laughing hysterically.

Here I was panicking myself by thinking if Akshat really wanna go on a date with me.
And He himself is asking me if I've changed my plan,
Why is he insecure.! He is Akshat Jindal, the son of most richest person of Indore.
He can have any girl by his side.
Then why is he showing interest in me. I am no one, just an ordinary girl Guddan, no one special.

Akshat :- Guddan, you there.? 
I'm getting anxious, you haven't cancelled the date, have you.??

Ok.!  Is this boy for real.!!!!

Guddan :- Should I.?

A :- Nooooooooo

A :- I mean No, At least give me a chance, just one date please.

G :- Akshat I think I've already agreed.

A :- Just asking. :-))

A :- I'll pick you up by 7:00 PM. See ya soon. Bye

G : Ok.

" What do you need " Aanya's voice travelled through the disheaveled room.
I turned around & saw her gawking at my scattered belongings, she turned to me with wide eyes.

" Were you wrestling with your clothes before my arrival, what the hell happened to your room "

" That's why I called you, I need your help to get ready "

" And for what occasion are you getting ready " Aanya asked me while settling down in the chair.

" I have a date with Akshat tonight "

" Ok, you have a da.....YOU HAVE WHAT.???????????? "
Aanya practically jumped from the chair & shouted at top of her lungs.

" Geez, calm down woman. I said Akshat asked me for a date & I agreed, so tonight is our date night. "

" And you are telling me this now.
Ok leave it, we'll talk about that later, firstly come on we have to go. " Aanya grasped my hand and began dragging me with her.

" Where are we going, Aanya just help me selecting a dress & I'll be all set for tonight "

Something clicked in her mind because she suddenly stopped and looked at me up & down.

" Have you seen yourself in mirror, you look like a zombie. Wow what a first impression on first date " She said to me sarcastically and I fought the urge to roll my eyes.
I didn't replied and just silently followed her outside, god knows where she is taking me.

( Akshat's P.O.V ) 

" Hello, Yes Akshat jindal here.
Listen, I want the best table of your restaurant & whole floor just for myself.
No one I'm repeating I want no one after 7:00 PM at that floor. I'm coming with my Date tonight & I don't want any mishap,
Got it.
Decorate the whole goddam restaurant for all I care.
I just want a whole floor most beautifuly decorated, and listen one more thing...."

I was talking to the Restaurant manager when suddenly someone snatched my phone and began speaking.

" Cancel the plan, No need to book the floor or table, Yeah thanks " I shot Rehaan a sharp look which he so foolishly ignored,
Oh Rehaan you are so dead by my hands.

" You better think of an explanation why you cancelled my booking before I strangle you "

" Are you crazy Akshat.!  Seriously you want to create a special impression on Guddan by these stupid old ideas "

" Where the heck am I supposed to take her then "

" How would I know that, it's your date night not mine.
Just do something special, different, Make your date feel special. " Rehaan winked at me while saying Date and retreated from the room leaving me standing there in confused state.

Suddenly an idea popped up in my mind and I did a small crazy dance out of utter happiness.

After managing few calls, I made sure that the special venue for my Date night is all set.
I glanced at clock & noticed I've only 45 minutes left. I hurriedly left the room & went to dress up for this special Night.

( After 40 minutes )

I checked myself in the rear-view mirror of my car & straightened my jacket.
I'm standing outside Guddan's house for past 10 minutes, just mentally pep-talking.
I admit I'm a bit nervous but thrilled too.
I composed myself, inhaled deeply & knocked on the door.

After few seconds, the front door opened revealing Aanya. She smiled at me and invited me in which I politely declined.

"Aanya is Guddan...... " My words stuck down in my throat as I saw Guddan appearing from the top of staircase.

She slowly & gracefully walked towards me & I just gazed at her unblinking with mouth ajar.
She was wearing a knee-length Black Dress with matching High Heels & Shining Black Diamond studded Ear-rings. Her soft Waist-length hair were descending down in loose curls,   
I couldn't take off my eyes from her.
She was looking Breathtaking, Alluring, Stunning, All the damn adjectives of Beautiful.

Suddenly Aanya from my Right snapped her fingers in front of me chuckling.
I came out of my dazed state & cleared my throat uncomfortably.

I gave them both a sheepish smile while turning back towards Guddan.

" Umm so Are you Ready to go ".

Guddan smiled softly and just nodded her head. We both made our way towards my car, I opened the door for her in a gentleman way & after she got settled down comfortably in her seat, I myself entered the car & started driving towards the outskirts of the town.

Here starts my first date night with the girl of my dreams.
