"Oh, boo hoo. You have a sob story? We all have a sob story. So don't think you're unique or alone just because you're hurting. Here's a secret..... We're all hurting."

I couldn't bear going to the reception, so I begin to walk into a nearby pub. Looking around, I decide to take the seat closest to the door. I always say near the exit. I don't like crowds so this made it even easier for me. As the waitress goes by I quickly as for a beer before scouting the place.
There was a girl near me with tears streaming down her face. I twist my lip to the side and look around aimlessly to try to see if someone else would aid her. I tap my fingers against the wooden table, awaiting my beer. Once she comes back, I quickly thank the waitress before asking for another along with the tab. I always like to pay in advance so I won't have to worry about it later.
Opening my drink, I place the cold glass to my lips a bit before taking a gulp. As I was paying, I could hear the girl's sniffle a bit louder. I glance back at her to see no one has yet to confront her. Thanking the waitress, I leave her a five dollar tip before grabbing my drinks and receipt. For fucks sake.
Grabbing my things, I sit across from her and clear my throat so she can acknowledge my presence. She sniffles a little more before looking up. Upon making eye contact with her, I notice how she quickly looks back down.
"What is it?" I ask, sighing deeply. "Why are you crying?" She bites down on her lip.
"Life is just not going my way...." I roll my eyes at her statement.
"Oh boo hoo. You have a sob story? We all have a sob story. So don't think you're unique or alone just because you're hurting. Here's a secret.." I lean in after chugging another gulp of beer down. I lower my voice, but just enough for her to hear me.
"We're all hurting."
Angel Of Death
My eyes stay trained on the poetic sight before me. The sky itself was parted, allowing a strikingly blinding light to seep through the Earth. Once a gracious Angel, now pulled down by the great force of gravity. It must hurt, hell, it almost hurt to watch.
As each second he was falling, his wings were burning. The feathers that weren't up in fire were stained with blood, causing me to wince slightly. Squinting, I notice the Angel's face distorting in shape. His scream are so gut wrenching to hear, I'm sure they'll be embedded into my memory every waking hour of every day. His arms are flailing about as they reach out for something, anything.
His halo was long gone as far as I could see. His wings soon becoming skimpy and thin. Although the sight was disturbing, I couldn't help my eyesight to be glued to the Angel as my feet stay planted firmly on the ground I stand on a safe distance away.
If I were to look closely, I'd be able to look into Heaven.. A place I'm never allowed to roam. Earth is my domain, and my lifelong home. I'd never get to be honored with the presence of Angels. I was created to be the outlier... Oh, how a lonely way to live.
I notice the skin color change-then a gruesome sight... The closer he fell to Earth, I took notice to his skin. He looked almost human in the start, but now his skin seemed to be burning. My eyesight was killer, meaning I could see each detail. His skin seemed to be bubbling underneath and turning red. He was no longer a beauty, I could tell you that.
What could he have done so bad that caused him to be booted out of Heaven's Gates?
Angel Of Heartbreak
"Sister... What's it like to be so happy?" I ask, genuinely.
"I don't know! It just happens." My face scrunches up in anger and jealousy.
"It's not fair!" I yank on her hair and she yells out in pain. Soon, our parents come out in view. I see their confused faces turn into scornful ones.
"Mom, Dad! I don't want to be here anymore." My eyes turn blurry as they fill up with tears. I point my finger at Cupid harshly.
"She makes people happy! Everyone loves her. People hate to see me! I make them cry and hurt." My body drops to the ground and my butt plops down on the soft grass. My hands hold my head in frustration. It just wasn't fair.
"You know people at school said I make people kill themselves today." I pout, looking up at them. Their faces turn into sadness as the glance over at each other. Cupid comes close to me, but I move away. I don't want to be comforted. I was in pain: feeling my heart sink to the bottom of my shoes as I try to silence my cries.
"Why did you even create me?"
