The sun screamed in my face making it hard to continue sleeping. Groaning, I feel the cool hard object still placed firmly in my hand. I blink repeatedly, trying to get my eyes to such disrespectful lighting. I turn around to check my surroundings. Most of the people from last night was gone, yet there was a man at the top corner underneath the bridge. The only reason I noticed him was because I'd never seen him before. He wore all black and sat on his ass with one leg straighten out while the other was bend. One arm lazily draped on the lifted knee. Even from this distance I could tell he was staring at me. I caught a glimpse of a seemingly familiar looking silver gray hair color.

I tilt my head slightly to the side in curiosity with an eyebrow lifted. Squinting my eyes, I grab my things before standing up fully. I could hear the cars whizzing past from behind me.

"Hey!" I quickly drop my blankets and raise my gun while turning around. I pull the safety and hold it steady. My nose flares in concentration and alarm. My eyes fixate on the same annoying ass striking blue eyes. I clench my jaw in annoyance as he holds his hands up to surrender.

"What in the fuck do you want?" I spat, harshly.

"Hey.. Relax there, Killer." I bite down on the inside of my cheek to keep from cursing in frustration at the confident man. I watch as he shrugs.

"I was just rolling by and saw you. You uh- need a ride or something?" I keep my gun trained on him as I try my best to get a glimpse behind me to see if the dark man was still there. He wasn't. I groan as I bend down a bit to pick up my blankets with one hand while the gun remained firm in the other.

"No, I don't need a damn ride." I scoff. I keep my guard up as I move away from him.

"You know, there's something about you that's just-... I keep running into you." He smirks as I roll my eyes.

"Sure. Now, next time, I'm gonna shoot you." I click the safety and tuck it into my waistband.

The idiot.

"People think I'm strange... Do you think I'm strange Azrail?" I close my locket and turn my head in his direction. He looks around unamused before his eyes go wide in shock and points at himself.

"Me? You're asking me? Look at me Sameen." He chuckles a little. I turn my lip to the side. I always wondered why he took the time out of each morning in order to draw those odd markings.

"Hmm.. I suppose so... Are you're parents not home again?" He scoffs as he readjusts his sack. He lets out a short cough.
