This is sappy and cringe so watch out

If you don't remember, Sachi has shoulder length black hair with a stripe of blonde or pink, I forgot. She was introduced in the Christmas special way back

Also Wattpad sucks major ass and I've had to rewrite this like 4 times since it won't sAVe—

Kiba Inuzuka was 12 when he realized he loved Naruto Uzumaki.

He wasn't sure how it happened. Maybe it was the way his elbow would nudge Kiba's as they sat together, complaining about the schoolwork. Maybe it was the grin on Naruto's face as they got away with another prank.

But it was too late.

They graduated. Naruto ran off with his new teammates without a simple goodbye, and Kiba was left wondering if their whole friendship was just a figment of his imagination.

Nevertheless, Kiba beamed and introduced himself to his new companions. A shy girl and a quiet, composed boy.

Years later, Naruto reaches out. Calling for help. What could Kiba do? He recalled the way his heart fluttered after seeing Naruto in the Chunin Exams; how elated he was when they were paired for a fight and their elbows could brush and a grin would be shared once more. He couldn't say no. He grinned and nodded, telling Naruto he and Shino would go with him to chase after Sasuke.

The following years were some of the best in his life! He spent his time beside the person he loved most, years of staying faithfully by Naruto's side.

And they succeeded! They brought Sasuke Uchiha home. Shouldn't that be the cause of celebration? Shouldn't he be happy?

But he wasn't.

He returned home to a village full of whispers and skeptical stares, and hey, the idea that maybe, he was a terrible person.

Kiba couldn't begin to imagine how much pain Sakura had been in. Pain that he contributed to.

What made him deserving of love? Of Naruto's reciprocation?

And then he learned that his sister was dead. Hana. The one who would roll her eyes and patch him up after every fight. Who he confided in first when he realized he was pansexual. That Hana, his sister Hana, was dead buried deep in Wind Country.

Maybe she wasn't even buried. Her teammates had ran away as soon as Hana told them she'd stall as they escaped. Kiba couldn't help but chuckle bitterly at that. That was Hana Inuzuka for you. Always, from beginning to end.

Until he met her. She was like a ray of sunshine, radiating and shining purely to light up his world. She made him feel like he was deserving of love. Like he was enough.

"What's with that dumb look on your face?" A voice snorted. "Oh wait, that's just your face. Whoops."

Kiba shook his head, grinning as Sachi took a seat across from him. "But you love my face!"

Sachi sighed. "I can't argue with that logic. Now here, I got you some dango."

"You are the greatest woman alive!" He praised, shoving a stick of dango in his mouth. Sachi giggled. "Seriously, though, you're amazing." Kiba gave her a dopey grin.

Sachi blushed, and waved off his compliments. "Yeah yeah, sure. But thanks."

The bell at the door of the shop chimed as someone entered the store. Kiba looked up, past Sachi's shoulder to see Sakura and Hinata. His smile fell.
