Chapter 7

A/N: Before I let you read im just gonna let you know it's kinda a filler. Like what happens to Nicole and to let you guys know about Austin's feelings. But thank you for reading and just remember leave comments and vote!

Nicole's mom's P.O.V.

I got a phone call that had woken me up. "Is this miss Evans?" A man said in a low voice. "Yes?" I said swallowing hard. "Your daughter is in the hospital, she was in a car crash." Tears fell down my cheeks. "Ill be there soon." With that I hung up. Threw on clothes then went to my car.

I walked into room 223. She had bruises and scratches on her arms. But that's all I could see. I couldn't imagine how bad her legs were beat up. More tears fell and just kept falling. I was sitting in a chair and holding her cold hand. The doctor walked in and he told me that she might be out for a couple days because the accident was pretty bad. "So a coma?" I asked hoping he would deny it. He nodded then grabbed his clipboard then went into the hallway.

I inhaled deeply and let out a bid sigh. I released her hand and grabbed my purse. I pulled out my phone and texted Callie. "Hi honey, I know it's late but I thought you should know. Nicole has been in a car accident and is in a coma. Come by after school and maybe just let some of only her closest friends know. Thank you." With that I sent it to Callie and then felt my eyes get heavier and heavier.

Callie's P.O.V.

I woke up and rubbed my eyes. My phone vibrated. I picked it up and it was a message from Britney (Nicole's mom) which was unusual.  I opened it and it had said she was in a car accident and in a coma. Tears flooded my eyes and slowly fell. I didn't text her back. I brushed my teeth, threw my hair in a bun, put on a sweatshirt and sweatpants then left.

I took the elevator and went to room 223. Nicole's blonde hair was laying around her shoulders and she had an iv in her arm. Then another needle giving her blood. She had bruises and some stitched up scratches. I pulled up a chair and looked at her for awhile until I got a message. 

" Hey why aren't you and Nicole at school today?" Austin said. I texted him back saying she was in the hospital and everything that had happened. Shortly after him and Alex showed up. "Babe." Alex said coming up to me and embracing me in a big hug. Tears rolled down my cheeks to his button up shirt. He rubbed my back and held me tighter.

Nicole's mom had been pulled out of the room because she needed to do some paper work with the front counter. Austin sat in the chair and looked at her with sad puppy dog eyes. I tilted my head towards the doorway and me and Alex went out. He shut the door behind him leaving Nicole and Austin alone.

Austin's P.O.V.

I held her cold hand and cupped my two around it. "Nicole I don't know if you can hear me or not but I have something to say. I - I love you and I want to be with you. I know you've heard about my past but you made me a better person. I just wanted you to be okay." I said then water filled up my eyes but I didn't let them fall. I had to be strong for Callie and Nicole's mom.

I sighed then let go of her hand. I stood up and walked towards the door. "You guys can go in. I'm going back to school."I said quietly then brushed past them.

Callie's P.O.V.

"Sorry babe gotta go." He said giving me a quick kiss and hug then went to the elevator. I could tell Austin was hurting. If he was trying to hide it he wasn't very good at it.

I pulled a chair and sat beside the bed. "Do you remember the last time we were in the hospital?" I said looking back at her. "Remember when we were swimming at my lake then I jumped off the boat and it was to shallow. Then I hit my head on a rock and got a hug cut." I just laughed and smiled at her. "Good times wasn't it?" I half smiled then grabbed the blanket Alex brought me. I brought it up to my chest and layed beside her in the hospital bed. I didn't care if the doctors got mad. She's my best friend.
