"Dixie do you know where Iain is?"
" He's in cubical 3 with a patient."
"Thanks"
Lily approached cubical 3. She pulled back the curtain slowly, to find Iain writing notes on a IPad whilst he spoke to the patient.
"Hi I'm really sorry" lily apologised to the patient.
"But Iain I need you"
"Can it not wait, until I've finished transferring this patient?"
His answers were always so abrupt it was hard to say no.
Lily bucked up the courage.
"no it can't, it's urgent."
He signed, gave the IPad to Dixie, apologised to the patient and left the cubicle.
"Come on Lily whats so urgent that I've have to leave a patient halfway through examining him!?.
There was a pause, Lily was think of the best way to tell him about Ruby.
"It's Ruby..."
His angered face turned to a face of worry"
"She's been in a collision with a lorry. She's currently being treated in RESUS."
