When they least expected it, the miracle of love happened. They just received the best news a very sweet music to their ears.
Sarah is so agitated while waiting for the result of the medical examination done on her. She felt Gerald holding on her hand tightly; showing he feel the same; but make her feel so relax and at ease. That’s why she is so in love with her husband.
Then Dr. Santos came in holding with her the envelope which contains all the results of her laboratory examination. She looks at the couple with a smile on her face, so at least Sarah releases her deep breath which she is holding a while ago. Their doctor then congratulated them saying, at long last your miracle just happen.
Both Sarah and Gerald looked at her with amazement and astonishment; what is it Dra? What is wrong?
Dr. Santos smiled at them and said no reason to fear and be apprehensive. It is just normal for a two weeks pregnant woman to feel morning sickness, nausea and change in body temperatures and even sudden mood swing.
Sarah and Gerald: What, pregnant? Who?
Dr. Santos: You, Sarah, based on the result of all your examinations, you are two weeks and everything is normal so nothing to be afraid. You just have to rest, avoid stressful activities and eat enough fruits and vegetables. Avoid salty foods and as much as possible for the first trimester lessen your travels. Oh, I know this is not yet sinking on you, but it’s really true. You are going to have your own baby.
Gerald: Speechless: Wow, Lord, thank you, what a wonderful gift. This is really a miracle; we don’t know what to feel? Babe, are you alright. Looking at his wife who is still transfixed with shock; tighten his hold and pull her a little.
Sarah: Babe, I am pregnant; am I dreaming, as she touched her tummy; we make a miracle and she/he is now nestling in my womb. O Lord, thank you. Then she felt herself crying with so much happiness.
Sarah and Gerald: thank you very much doc. We will follow strictly your advice and the schedules for regular monitoring. Doctor Santos gave them a checklist of things to do during the first trimester including the schedules of check-ups.
Sarah and Gerald can’t believe what has happen; they hugged each other and Gerald can’t contain his happiness and shouted with so much happiness. Lucky enough, there are only a few people around to witness him.
They went straight home to share the good news to everyone. Ashley ran to them shouting dada dada as she run straight to Gerald to be lifted. Gerald lifted their daughter and twirls around. Ashley, you are going to have your little brother or sister.
Mommy Vangie: look at Sarah who lovingly watched her husband and Ashley; what? Are you pregnant?
Mommy Divine called Daddy Delfin: Daddy, good news, as she hugged him and together they hugged Sarah: Thank you Lord, this is really a miracle. They are all crying with so much happiness on the good news they are hearing now.
