That moment will forever be imprinted in my heart. Gerald had captured the special moment when he had them in his arms for the first time. He can not control the dam of water to flow from his eyes; God truly loves them so much to be gifted with two lovely angels. They have waited for almost five years; lovingly looking at his wife, whose eyes like him have been misty with tears of joy and love, a perfect picture of a mother and her children. “Lord thank you for all the blessings you are giving us”.
He then lifted Ashley to his lap and kissed her head, saying: You are now a Big sister, my angel. You have a little brother and sister to take care off. Love them because like you, Mommy and Daddy love them very much.
Ashley touched his face and as if she can talked straightly, he felt what his daughter wanted to convey to him “I already love them even before they are borned when they are still inside Mom’s womb. Like me, we will be your angels who will love and take care of you and Mom”.
Two days after the Anderson house has been in festive mood to welcome the new members of the family. Sarah and the twins are discharged from the hospital. Mommy Divine and Mommy Vangie saupervise the preparation for their homecoming; while Daddy Delfin and Daddy Randy fetched the family from the hospital. Ken and Gab are both coming with their girlfriends. Some of their close friends arrived together with Ate Juday’s family. Yohan and Lucho played with Ashley in the garden.
Mommy Divine: Vangie, I am so happy to see how Gerald is taking care of his family. It is really a blessing that he came into my daughter’s life. He is reaaly a good husband and good father to his children.
Mommy Vangie: He is really like that, he has been a good provider of the family when my husband and I have separated and we went back here in the Philippines. Gerald is also blessed when he met Sarah; he has found the happiness he is looking for and I have never seen him glow with o much happiness before until he met your daughter. They really complement each other and brings out the best of themselves.
Ken and Gab heard them and said: Sus… the two mother exchanging their praises. Why not just say, you two are the best for bringing children like us. Handsome and beautiful, posing as if they are modeling, which made the people present laughed out loud. They both greeted their moms with tight hugs and lifting them up for a twirl around the kitchen.
Ken: Mom, we already picked up the lechon we’ve orderd freom our friends in Cebu; and mine you, the Ashralds also sent many things so we don’t need to cook or order foods, They heard that Ate Sarah will be discharged today so they are all in full force, some are in the hospitazl bringing foods and goodies as their sign of appreciation for the staff who took care of Ate Sarah. They said, they will also be handling the preparation for the christening of the twins.
Mommy Divine: and Mommy Vangie almost teary eyes, their fans are really great, from the time their love team started, they are already there giving their unconditional support. We can organize also something to give our appreciation for them.
Gab: Hey Ken, we have to get the mops here before the floors got flooded. They are at it again...then got hold of Mommy Vangie hand to twirl her around the area. Mom, can we have something to eat, we have left Tagaytay early to fetch Ken in the airport.
After several hours, the family arrived. Gerald noticed the festive moods and even the banner with the welcome sign for Sarah and the Twins, he assisted his wife in going down the van and asked her to look at the tarpaulin, she smile and at the same time feel her eyes misted. Then the two nurses they hired to take care of their babies aalighted with the twins. Daddy Delfin assisted in bringing out their things included the gifts they have received form their fans who visited them in the hospital.
