The Senator

To the Future

Soon the peace negotiations were over and the war had ended. Like I had wish Padmé became the new Chancellor and the Jedi order removes the law against attachments, which allowed her and Anakin to stay married. As for me I stayed the Senator of Serenno, and I am happily working along side the Jedi order to make it stronger.

"Master Windu." I said as I greeted him.

"Master Yoda asked me to come speak to you." He said softly.

"Is something wrong?" I asked with a frown.

"No, Nothing is wrong. We just need to discuss a diplomatic mission for you." He said calmly.

I followed him to the council and he took a seat while I stood in front of them.

"Lady Allana, I will be sending you on a mission with Master Kenobi, Master Jaro Tapal, and Jaro's padawan Cal Kestis." Windu said calmly.

"Of course, where are we going?" I asked softly.

"Lasan, the Lasan homeworld." Plo Koon said calmly.

I nodded my head and then the dismissed me and I left. I let out a sigh as I changed into a grey shirt and black leggings. I slipped my boots on and grabbed a brown leather jacket. I put my hair in a ponytail and met up with Kenobi and Tapal.

"Masters, Kenobi, Tapal." I said with a bow of my head.

"Lady Allana." Tapal said as he bowed his head.

"So I heard we were going to Lasan, is there anything I should know about the Lasats?" I asked softly.

"They like to fight." He said with a smile.

I nodded my head and climbed onto the ship. We soon landed and I let out a sigh as I followed Tapal and Kenobi off the ship.

"Meet Captain Garazeb Orrelios of the honor guard." Tapal said as he introduced the Lasat in front of me.

"Welcome to Lasan." He said calmly.

"It is a honor to be here Captain Orrelios." I said softly.

"Please call me Zeb, my lady." He said softly.

"Then please call me Allana." I said softly.

He nodded his head and led me inside. After talking to the prince I was showed my room. I thanked Zeb and then shut the door and let out a sigh as I took my jacket off. I heard a knock on my door and opened it to reveal Kenobi.

"I wanted to check on you." He said softly.

"They you Master Kenobi, would you like to come in?" I asked softly.

He nodded his head and walked inside. I shut the door and turned to look at him.

"You did well with meeting the prince." He said softly.

"Comes with being a Senator. I must say Lasan is a beautiful world, I'd love to stay longer." I said softly.

"I'm sure Garazeb would like that. I believe he has a crush on you." He said with a laugh.

I rolled my eyes and smiled as I set down.

"So I heard Anakin and Padmé are expecting their first child anytime now."

"Twins." Kenobi said softly.

"I'm proud of them." I said as I let out a sigh.

"I am as well. Anakin has become a better Jedi since we allowed him and Padmé to stay together."

"Love is sometimes the strongest power." I said with a small smile.

He nodded his head and I watched as he left my room. I let out a sigh and looked out the window. I felt a strong pull to Kenobi. It wasn't a romantic pull, I do love him but more like a daughter loves her father. Since I met Kenobi he has been kind and treated me well, but to mention he made me feel safe, something I haven't felt in a long time.

I heard a knock on my door and stood up and walked towards the door. I opened the door and frowned as I saw Zeb.

"Sorry to disturb you, but we had a break in and they asked me to come and keep watch." He said softly.

"Of course." I said as I moved to the side and allowed him in.

I shut the door and took my hair down.

"Do you know why they broke in?" I asked as I put my hair clip on my desk.

"No, only that their is an intruder, Master Kenobi and Tapal are searching the building now." He said softly.

"I see, thankfully I have the best Lasat with me." I said as I sent him a smile.

I saw his cheeks blush red and I let out a laugh. After awhile I changed into my nightgown and decided to get some rest.

"I'll be in here, yell if you need me." He said softly.

"Thank you Zeb." I said as he left the room.

I laid down and let out a sig as I closed my eyes.

"Allana...... you could of saved me." A voice said.

I looked around for the voice but found nothing. I went to look around again and let out a gasp as I saw Mina.

"I'm dead because of you!"

"No!" I yelled as I shot up.

I gasped for air as Zeb rushed in with his bo-rifle.

"What happen?" He asked with a frown.

"I'm sorry, it... was a nightmare." I said as I covered my face.

He put his bo-rifle away and let out a sigh of relief.

"Want to talk about it?"

I shook my head no and he set on my bed beside me. I felt tears stream down my face and he gently moved my hands away.

"Allana, it's okay." He said softly.

"I killed her.... I'm so sorry Mina!" I exclaimed as he pulled me into a hug.

I let out a sob and he held me tightly against his chest.
