Chapter 10

We had our breakfast and we got into Michael's car we buckled up. I turned on the radio and "Crush by David Archuleta" came on. I haven't heard that song in ages and I felt so relaxed and the feeling of comfort came up on me. I was singing along and Michael stared at me.

"Have you ever heard this song before?" I asked while raising my eyebrows.

"Nope" he replied awkwardly and he kept his eyes on the road.

I closed my eyes and I dozed of to the song.

《20 minutes later》

Michael woke me up,

"Hey wake up" he said whispering in my ear and his hot breath against my neck.

I yawned stretching my arms "Where are we" I asked.

"It's a suprise" he says.

I opened my eyes and we were at a cliff near a cove.

"What are we doing here, don't we have school?" I asked.

"School can wait but I can't" he says to me.

"Wait for what? Didn't I sleep beside you last night or remember when we made out under the stars?" I asked.

"But that isn't enough for me babe, I just wanna spend this time with you" he says holding my hands.

"Okay" I replied.

{Michael}

Then we sat on top of the car hood facing the sea at a cliff. I held her hand and she looked at me with the breeze blowing her hair. I could see her face glowing in happiness.

"Actually this is a great idea" she said to me smiling.

"I used to come up here when I was sad" I replied.

"This is a good place, thank you so so much again for everything" she said.

"No worries" I replied.

I placed my lips on hers taking things slow and it was really soft and she kissed back.

"Michael, promise me one thing" she said.

"What is it babe?" I asked.

"Promise you'll never leave me okay?" She said.

"Babe I could never do that" I said.

And I could see tears in her eyes as she wipes it away.

"It's okay come here give papa some sugar" I said to her and she leans next to me chuckling in tears and I hugged her tightly.

"Hey Michael, I haven't went home yet and my mom would probably be worried" she said.

"Come on let's drop by at your place" I said.

Then we got into the car.

{Autumn}

When we passed by home there was a police car outside.

"Michael stop the car!" I said and I ran out of the car into my house. Then I saw my mom talking to the officer and she was tearing up.

"Mom!" I said tearing apart running to her to hug her.

"Honey, don't ever do that to me. You couldn't even call me to tell me where you are? I was worried sick" she said sniffing and her eyes were puffy.

"I'm really sorry, I won't ever do that ever I love you mom" I said hugging her really tightly.

"Guess I'm not needed then, thank you miss I need to go" the officer said then he left.

"You scared me running out of the car like that babe" Michael said trying to catch his breath.

"Autumn who's this red headed boy?" Mom asked.

"Hi Mrs. Jones I'm Autumn's boyfriend" Michael said.

"Wow Autumn! When were you going to tell me this?" Mom said sternly.

"Today??? It's like this, we dated yesterday and he asked me to be his girlfriend yesterday" I replied.

"Honey! You don't know this guy very well and you're going to date him? What if he breaks your heart? I can't see you hurt yourself anymore. It kills me to see you torture yourself" she said to me.

"Mom don't say that! He's not like that" I replied almost tearing up.

"What makes you so sure honey?!" Mom asked.

"Please Mrs. Jones" Michael said.

"Autumn go to your room" she said.

I cannot believe it. I came home to her and this is what I get? Pfft! . Then I walked up the stairs and Michael followed.

"Not you young man" Mom said to Michael. Is she seriously going to do this to me? .

So I went into my room and I slammed the door and bad memories flashed back and I cried so hard.

{Michael}

Okay this is weird.

"Young man I need to speak to you" Mrs. Jones said.

"Yes Ma'am?" I said.

"Are you Autumn's boyfriend?" She asked.

"Technically, yes" I replied

"You're not doing this to break her heart in front of the whole school are you??" She asked curiosly.

"I would never do that, I love her to much" I replied.

"But you're friends with that Luke boy who hurts my baby" she said.

"Doesn't mean I'm like him" I answered.

"Please do not ever hurt her, I give you my permission to date her but please protect her and please don't let anyone hurt my baby, I can't afford loosing two special loved ones in my life anymore" she pleaded.

"Don't worry I can never let that happen again because she's like my everything" I said.

"Good" she replied giving me a huge hug.

{Autumn}

I leaned against the door and all I could hear was "I can't afford loosing two special loved ones in my life anymore"

That sentence made me tear up, she was right the only reason she doesn't allow this is because she doesn't want me to hurt myself because I'm broken. She's always right and I should listen to her.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door, I opened it and Michael barges in on me making himself fall on top of me.

"Ouch" I said.

"Sorry, wow you have a nice room" he speaks as his face faces mine then he helped me up.

"Nah this place is the worst" I replied.

I directed Michael to sit down on my bed. Then he layed down on it opening his arms wide.

"It's really comfortable here" he said.

"But I prefer your bed" I said.

"But why??? This is better than mine" he said.

"Because that's where I cry myself to sleep" I said.

Then he pulls me in next to him planting kisses on my whole face.
