Dev and Trisha

new life

As Trisha entered the lively hall filled with family members, people teased her about her screaming earlier.

" What was the sound? What scared you my dear?" Laughed one of the aunties, she had no idea who it was . Probably one of her relatives

At the sight of Trisha Dev knew that now he can go and get dressed without any nuisance.

Trisha was sitting and chatting with one of her cousins ,her mom came up to her and enquired her if her newly wedded husband had coffee. Trisha wanted to reply how in the world will I know but upsetting her mother was the last thing she wanted so she got up to check up on him

Trisha entered her room and found him in his towel searching for a shirt , she turned abruptly to walk away

" I won't scream, you can take a look" came his voice coolly

Trisha could feel the smirk on his face even without looking at him, containing her anger she turned to face him. Faking a smile she told him
" What's the use of having a good physique when you're heart is black as the midnight"
" Come and drink you're coffee" she told these words as fast as she can and escaped from there

" Why does she portray me as an evil villain , atleast she agrees that I have good physique " he thought

Just as she joined back her cousins gang they were discussing about the grooms
" Krishna looks too cute ,im sure he has a cute tummy" giggled one of the girls

"Was he hairy?" Eyed another at Meghna

Meghna's cheeks reddened as she looked down

" Guys stop annoying the poor thing" said Trisha protectively

" Ok then tell us how ripped was Dev's chest" asked a cousin winking at her

Trisha's mind went back to when he was changing, his chest were truly ripped .It looked as though somebody did sculpt it, a fine line separating the strong pectorals. Droplets of water running down the fine bulging biceps and his rock solid four pack abs glistened due to wetness but like she said what's the use of having a good body but being an ugly human

' ugh guys, it's an arranged marriage, things take time" she replied annoyed

" Meghna wouldn't say that, would you?" They tickled her

After visiting the hometown and returning back to Chennai that night made the whole family tired, they all headed back to Mr.Ganesh's home. The bride's parents already felt sad with the fact that they have to leave their kids there. Trisha hugged her parents tight and wtached them leave in their car. To welcome the newly wedded couples the maid of the house brought the aarati tray with fire in it and circled it before the couples , the brides entered their new home with their right foots.

" My dear girls I am truly not like the mother in law they show in the serials, I'm the kind who minds her own business and I am happy that I've got two more daughters in this house" Mrs. Savitri smiled at them and they found her words truly warm and welcoming. The girls smiled at her and Krishna held Meghna's hand as they climbed up the stairs. Their house was a beautiful one with indoor plants here and there , the furnitures were minimalistic in the hall. Two bed rooms in the first floor ; one for the parents and the other was pooja's. The room in the second floor was Krishna's and Dev's room was in the balcony . Trisha was surprised to see so much plants outside his room in cute glass bottles , this guy has the time and patience to grow plants too she wondered

Dev purposefully slept on the bed taking all the space so that she'll come and ask him for space. Trisha inspected his room, it was kept neat and clean. A few more plants here and there combined with dark wooden cupboards , side table and a wooden working desk with chair. The space near the bed on the floor looked perfect for her to sleep so she unpacked her bag and dug out a thick blanket which she had brought from her village, she spread it on the floor took a pillow from the bed and a shawl from her bag , covered herself in it and proceeded to lay on the spreaded blanket to sleep for the night. Dev was kind of dumbfounded because she had already planned everything ahead so that she wouldn't ask for his assistance, so stubborn he thought
