Dev and Trisha

The birthday surprise

It was the day for the surprise and Dev was kind of nervous because he wanted it to be as planned, perfect and loved by her. Will madam Trisha approve my choices he wondered

Returning back home as soon as Trisha left Dev changed to the Tux he had bought from Chennai to be worn for the success party of his project, Dev was so confident that he bought it to Paris and now he's thankful for it being already useful. His next plan was to make Trisha come home so he decides to get the help of the receptionist, old man Curtis

Trisha was trying to concentrate on her class when her phone rang, As it was on vibrate the class didn't get disturbed. She locked her phone and looked at the professor and it rang again and again which made her a bit worried. She excused herself from the class and called the number and it was the old man at the reception's voice
" Dev Dev police! , rentre vite à la maison"
" Dev Dev police!, Come home fast" Trisha found the old uncle's voice anxious and worried and it made her stomach flip , Dev is in some kind of danger she thought. She ran to get home even without informing her professor , she boarded the metro and  immediately called her professor and informed him her urgent situation. Involuntarily she prayed for his well bieng. As her stop came she rushed out and ran to her building , she couldn't find the old man at the reception so she ran to her flat to find the door open, she was scared to take the next step as to face what had happened to Dev . She slowly took each step to find no one, no Dev or police or any one in the hall so she entered the room to find a letter over some plastic cover on the bed and she immediately opened it to read
" Dear Trisha,
   Happiest birthday to you, wear this and come down . There will be a black car waiting for you" 

Trisha was beyond surprised by this act, what was supposed to be a shocking bad news was actually her birthday surprise and that too just like in movies she thought, She  couldn't understand if this was planned by Dev. Maybe it's Maximus she thought but she secretly wanted it to be Dev!

She unzipped the black cover to find a beautiful evening gown. A beige gown with an intricate lace Yoke and sleeves, underneath flare silk fabric falling to the floor. There was also a box next to the cover , with excitement Trisha opened that too to find a pair of black kitten heels with straps. How does this man know exactly what I love she wondered and she understood that he must've taken her sister's help. She made a mental note to thank her later because she had to get ready for her date. Trisha wondered if she could call this her date or not but she immediately told herself to not get lost in thoughts but to get ready

After a good one hour Trisha was heading down to the car , Jennifer was watching Trisha from her door and she couldn't help but feel jealousy slowly rise up her stomach, she wanted this date or whatever Trisha was going to , to not be with Dev but someone else

In front of the building there was a black car not a limousine but still a shiny black car waiting exclusively for her and she just wondered how many chick flicks Dev had to watch to perfect this surprise and she couldn't stop smiling not because he's spending for her but he's been thinking of her the whole time and putting effort to make her happy, this was the best gift she thought, as she exited out a chauffeur in a white uniform greeted her with a smile and handed her a single rose, she received it from him and he opened the car door for her to get in.
The drive to the place Dev's been waiting for her took about twenty minutes.Upon reaching the destination the chauffeur opened the car door and Trisha got down carrying her dress elegantly, in front of her was a traditional parisian restaurant with beautiful steel french cafe chairs with their tables on the outside, lush potted plants on the sides of the entrance. Trisha was told to go upstairs as she told her name to one of the staffs, she slowly climbed the stairs leading to a terrace cafe . She opened the door and took a step to find the most breath taking view of her life.
