Dev and Trisha

Though Dev was annoying her ,she liked his current idea, both of them scrolled through Zomato and decided to order rolls.Dev went to get the food from the delivery guy,
" do you like hav change 20 or 30 rupees" he enquired to her
" But the bill amount is only 200 and you have it"
" Nope I'm asking for tipping the guy it's so late and he's still working"
Trisha checked her wallet in her bag and handed him twenty rupee

As Dev returned with the food, Trisha  told him
"Let's watch some stand up comedy for like half an hour ,since it's already late"
Dev nodded taking a bite in his roll.
Trisha didn't like the roll she ordered for herself
" Is this the same thing I ordered, tastes bad" she complained
" Here eat mine it's good" he handed her his roll
Trisha was a bit taken a back by his gesture
" No no you eat yours"
" Come on , I'm actually full I just ordered to give you company" he took her roll and bit it
Trisha actually realised how Dev was actually a kind guy, just two simple gestures but kind ones , she remembered how she thought he was a selfish stingy prick, was he or did he change? She wondered

Trisha counted the days and today was the third month of getting married and staying here, she kind of missed her parents.
" Wake up , it's going to be freaking twelve o clock" she nudged Dev but he turned ,again she nudged his arm and that's when she realized how firm his biceps were. Touching his exposed arm longer than necessary , Dev opened his eyes to find her standing there
" What are you doing" he questioned her with his green eyes glinting From the sun's rays and his messy straight hair falling over his eyes
" W- waking you up" she replied with a blushed cheek, embarrassment crept upon her, was what I did appropriate she questioned herself.
" Drink your coffee, it's getting cold" she told fast and ran downstairs

The family was celebrating when Dev got down , Krishna giving sweets to everyone and his sister in law was glowing with joy.
Even Trisha looked happy
" What's up" he asked her silently
" Well Meghna's pregnant,thus the celebration " she smiled
" Good thing" he replied looking at his happy family

" There's still time for you two, no need to rush " told Mr.Ganesh in a teasing manner

Trisha truly felt embarrassed not knowing what to reply, she looked. Dev scratched his head. Trisha went to sit by her sister. Their parents were coming over to meet them and both the sisters were ecstatic. Trisha went up to get her mobile phone and found Dev in the room
" Aren't you coming down" she asked
" Nope I'm good , up here"
" Why does it look like you're not quite interested in this whole pregnancy thing"
" Maybe I'm not, I don't know why" he replied with an irritated tone
" Its very natural for married people to get pregnant" she said jokingly
" Trisha I really don't know, why do people get married? Why do they get pregnant, like do they really want all these things or are they doing it because they are told to" he explained his confusion
" Really? So you actually got married because you're parents to-"
A knocking sound from their room door interrupted them,
" Dev and sister in law, your parents are here. Please come down" called Pooja

Trisha didn't want to ruin this happy moment by talking to him, he may end up saying things like what he said on the day before the wedding so she followed Pooja to meet her parents.
Trisha hugged her father inhaling his mild scent and she felt calmer
" Are you happy?" He asked in a low tone and she shook her head in acceptance

Her mother and Meghna were happily talking and Trisha joined them
