Colby's POV

April is in a sleepover with Kat, and her other friends and I already miss her!

Why would you let mate go? Peter asked.
Because she needs to have some time to let everything sink in and there are things that only the girls can answer without being strange I answered.
What if she has a headache again?
Kat said that she would mind-link us if anything happens.

"Hey buddy" Sam said poking his head inside my hotel room. "Whats up? We didn't really had time to talk today. How do you feel having found your mate?" He grinned sitting down beside me on my bed.
"When I am with her? Feels amazing! She is all that I could have asked for, but when she is away? I can just say I don't like it at all! AND Peter drives me insane whining about how she could be in danger and how she should be by our side" I answered honestly.
"Relax, it won't get better" He chuckled and put his hand on my shoulder "Even now, Luke" Sam's wolf "still can't control his jealous side and wants Kat always by our side. You'll get used to it".

-Guys, something happened- Kat's voice rang through my mind-link with her and Sam.
-What is it? Are you okay?- Sam asked without loosing a beat.
-Everything is fine, but April's wolf contacted her again-
-And? Is she in pain- I asked ready to spring out of bed and run to my mates aid.
-No, she is fine, just tired and sleeping-
-Then what's the problem?-
-There is no problem, but her wolf pushed so hard we could see her true eyes for a split second-
-And?  a beautiful blue I bet- I guessed.
-No, her eyes aren't blue- I admit my enthusiasm fell a bit, but is alright.
-Oh... Is okay if she is not that strong, after all, if any thing happens, I will always be there to protect her-
-That is not it Colby, her eyes are red- Kat explained.

I couldn't believe it, my little, delicate, beautiful mate is as strong as an alpha. This is just perfect, the future luna of my pack, the future mother of my child, my other half. I guess I should have expected that, but i was either was ecstatic.

-I gotta go now guys, the girls are getting ready to sleep- Kat voiced again, interrupting my thoughts.
-Okay, we'll see  you tomorrow baby, good night- Sam said.
-Thanks for telling us Kat-
-No problem!-

"Damn brother, the luna will be the perfect fit for the pack huh? A strong luna in an already strong pack, imagine what the outcomes will be" Sam said grinning at me.
"I must be dreaming" I sighted and fell back on the bed with a smile on my face.
"Speaking of dreams, lets get some sleep. Tomorrow we have to give a speech for the Whispering Trees pack about the ball, and after that you will have some type of meeting with your mate's parents to talk about her moving to LA with us."

With that, Sam went to his room and I was left alone to think of the many ways tomorrow can go.

It felt as if I had gotten less than a hour of sleep when Sam barged into my room and made me get up.

"Brother you have to start getting ready, we have to be on the pack house within an hour and a half and you have 40 minutes to get ready and drive with the rental to the school so that you can pick up your mate and Kat."

At the mention of April, I sprung from my bed straight to the shower. Kat had decided to spend the day shopping on the little stores nearby the school so that she could be near if anything happened. I admit I might have mentioned the idea to her...

In no more then 15 minutes, I was dressed and ready to go. I arrived at school with two minutes to spare and saw Kat already making her way to the car. I told her to wait inside while I was going to wait in front of the doors for April so she could see me.
