Colbys' POV

I was livid.

The fight went great, my little angel had won and everyone was cheering for their Luna, but then she fell to the ground with that bitch attacking her from behind.

One of my most strict rules for combats like this is to NEVER attack your opponent from behind, or after you already gave up, that is just cowards bullshit, and she goes and break both of them.

I shouted for Sam to get her and lock her up. I'd do it myself if it wasn't for the fact that my mate had passed out and was covered in blood.

The pain must have triggered her shift, because she was now laying naked as herself on my arms. My pack members turned away, which I was thankful for. Her body stayed limp as I ran towards the pack's hospital. Since I had mind-linked Dr. Phillip on my way, he was already waiting with a group of nurses with a stretcher ready.

I gently laid April on it and the group of nurses took her away, probably anxious to take care of their soon to be luna. Peter was going insane, wanting nothing more then to hold our mate in our arms, but as much as I wanted that too, I knew I had to let them work, so that they could do what is needed to help her.

-Where is she?- I asked Sam and Brennen by mind-link.
- Brennen and I took her to the cells- Sam answered.
-She is an even crazier bitch then I thought- Brennen said -She put one hell of a fight, but then I held her while Sam put our amazing drenched in aconite collar on her, and now she is pretty docile, might also be because she passed out, but that's what she gets for breaking the rules.-
-Good! I'll go down there as soon as I can-
-Don't worry man, how's she doing?- Brennen asked.
- I have no idea! They took her away but haven't said anything yet- I sighed.
- Then how are you doing?- Sam asked.
- Nervous, anxious, afraid, sad... I just want to know if she is gonna wake up. I can't even feel her pain since I haven't marked her.-
-I'm going to tell two of our warriors to keep an eye on Nadia, the both of us are coming there to be with you, hang on.-

Our mind-link ended and I got up from the chair I had sat on, and starter to pace. It felt like an eternity had passed when Sam and Brennen arrived. They both gave me a hug, and we all sat down. A few minutes had passed when Jake, Tara, Corey and Kat arrived.

" Any news?" tara asked and as an answer I shook my head "She'll be alright Colby, she is strong!" I smiled a little bit.
"Do any of you know what the rest of the pack thinks about the fight?" I asked.
"I know that the others from our friend group are just as impressed as they are worried. Quoting Kevin, he said 'I really hope she is okay, but can we talk about how she literally kicked Nadias ass?' " That made me chuckle a little bit.
"A few of the members think that she should have broken Nadias' neck when she had the chance" Corey said.

I laughed some more at that. When my father was the alpha, werewolves were still very violent, so when duels like this one happened, it would be a fight till death. Almost everyone accepts and agrees with my new rule, but I guess when their luna's life is on the line, they go back to their old minds.

"Alpha" Dr. Phillip says getting out of the room. I get up faster then ever before, not sure how I didn't get whiplash.
"How is she?" I ask with despair.
"She has a broken arm, a few bruised ribs, some scratches on her stomach, but all are superficial, which means that no organs were damaged, there is also, of course, the bite on her nape, but there was no big damage made, so with her wolf's healing, she will be like new in a week max."
"Then why did she pass out?" Sam asked.
"When she was bitten, somehow Nadia must have made pressure on a nerve near her shoulder which can make you pass out." He explained. I sighed with relief for my mate, I could now breath again.
"Can I see her?" Dr. Phillip nodded and pointed towards her room.

As I entered, I saw my baby laying there, her face a little pale, but still beautiful. I pulled a chair that was by the wall, put it beside the bed and sat down, holding her hand in one of mine, while the other stroked her hair.

About 30 minutes after, I was still on the same position, Sam had mind-linked me to let me know him and the others were going home, and to let them know when she wakes up. I was thinking on how I need to call her parents to let them know everything, when I was pulled out of my thoughts when I felt April's grip on my hand tighten.

I was planing on posting this a week ago, but my uncle passed away and it hit me hard. I already had this written so I didn't write any more, and that's why this chapter is so short. I'm still not 100% so I'm not sure how long it will take me to post the next chapter, but I promise not to take long.
