            Hakeem

I WAS JUST ABOUT to hit the jackpot when I thought I saw a figure move, so I tilted Lola's head to the side when I saw a set of short legs scurrying off. Those legs only belonged to Rayya. Thank God it was her and not someone else. Quickly I pulled my pants, wrapping my aching dick down.

Despite the fact that both Lola and I called out to Rayya, she ignored us so I made my way over to her which was probably a huge mistake because I stumbled to the floor. Walking with blue balls was hard enough then my pants fell down. Lola stifled her laughter, but it managed to escape anyway.

I looked back giving Lola a warning look and stood up making sure to buckle my belt this time. Being in this empty classroom alone with Lola was taking chances because it was like putting my finger in the fire and expecting not to get burnt.

If it was Malik who walked in on us, he would've beaten me black and blue but I wouldn't have cared, because it would've been worth it.

Slamming my hand on Ray's shoulders was also taking chances because the second my hands made contact with her she panicked. She whipped around, threw her hands up, and yelled, "PLEASE DON'T HURT ME!"

Confusion washed over me as I watched her slide down against the wall, hug her knees, and rock back and forth. The way she began blinking non-stop scared be to the point where I felt King Jr die. For some reason, I remembered her panicking when Virginity placed her hand on her shoulder.

As she rocked, she shook her head, whispering, "Please not again. Not again. Please."

Lola scurried to my side, her bottom lips between her teeth and eyes wide at Ray's state. She was clutching onto me with nervousness. "She's scaring me."

"Yeah me too," I whispered, kissing her temple. "You can go. I'll talk to her."

"No, I can't leave her like this."

"Lola please, I've got this."

With a reluctant nod, Lola made her way to leave but turned back to give me another heart-crushing kiss. She held onto me and kissed me as if it would be the last time.

I lifted her close to me, taking her in. This was so wrong. She's not mine, I chanted to myself until my brain and heart were on the same page. I pulled back in regret. "Please, go."

This was dangerous.

Doing what we did was hard but watching her leave was harder. It felt as though she was gone for good. Like the moment she stepped foot out of this classroom, those minutes we had to ourselves went with her.

Felt like five seconds.

I craved more.

Fuck, focus.

I turned to Ray, who was still having a panic attack. This time I gently rested my hand on her shoulders, tugging her back to me. She stopped her movements but refused to open her eyes.

"Rayya, Baby it's okay. You're okay. I'm not going to hurt you. I gotcha. It's me, Hakeem. Come on, I'm here."

She opened her eyes, taking in her surrounding. The second her eyes locked with mine she seemed relieved and hugged me so tightly, I couldn't breathe anymore.

"Good?" I asked after a few moments of catching my breath.

"Yeah," she smiled.

"No, Ray. This is the second time I've witnessed you panic when someone's hand contacted with your shoulder. Does this have anything to do with what happened with your ex-boyfriend?"

She looked away, proving that that was indeed the reason for her panic attacks.

"I don't want to talk about it." Her voice sounded convincing, but I knew better by now.

It was shocking how this girl changed emotions quicker than quick. She hid her emotions like a pro. I couldn't even lie without being caught. I just stared at her with confusion, but she snapped her fingers in my face.

"I didn't mean to barge in on you guys. I actually came for my textbook. Be careful, buddy." Her warning was sincere.

She was right. I sighed, giving her a hand up. "Get that book of yours. Let's go to the Havana Restaurant. We have some talking to do."

"Are you bribing me into keeping my lips sealed, Mr. King?"

I frowned at her and she snickered, pulling me out of the classroom.

"I'm just kidding. Now, let's go! I was hungry anyway."
