It's a quiet flight back to the base. That man had acted as though he knew me, but that's impossible.

We finally touched down.
I needed to know who he was and what games they're trying to play.
I went to the control center, no one questioned me as I sat in front one of the screens and started looking up files, after several minutes of digging, I found his information.

Several images of him unconscious and frozen came up, I frowned, instead of getting answers,  more questions took their place.
The screen went dark and blue words came up.
Access Denied
I folded my arms across my chest and leaned back in the chair.
Why would we have information like this in the first place.

"What made you look all of this up." Laake's voice interrupted my thoughts.
The gray haired man has stood by me all this time since they started my procedure.

I had apparently been in a raid against S.H.I.E.L.D. which ended badly for me.
I can't remember what happened since my brain had been damaged in the process of saving me.

In return they had made me stronger, I have worked for HYDRA my whole life. I have no reason to not trust them, they are my family.

"This man talked as if he knew me." I replied, "I just wanted to know who he is."

"Are you sure that is all?" he asked.

"Yeah, what else would it be?" I frowned as he ignored my question.

"We called him the Winter Soldier." Laakes answered, "He worked for us for a very long time, until he betrayed us. He now works against us for another organization. A traitor. We made him what he is. He is nothing more than a failed experiment." I stared at the floor listening to his every word.

"An experiment..." I repeated, I looked up to meet his eyes, "Is that what I am as well?"

"Of course not." he said touching my face.

"How did he know my name?" I asked. He moved his hand from my face.

"He's the one who killed you." he replied.

I was dismissed to my room, I laid in bed staring at the ceiling.

'He killed me once before.

S.H.I.E.L.D.

"I know what I saw." Bucky paced the living room as Nat, Steve, and Coulson watched from the couch, "We need to be out there looking for her."

"What if it's not her?" Steve asked.

"I know it was her." Bucky insisted.

"Bucky... she died in my arms." Natasha said.

Bucky stopped pacing and looked at her.

"Well... Coulson died as well.... and?" Steve motioned to Coulson.

"She might not be the person we all remember. Even if she regains her memories... she might not be the same."  Coulson said.

"But we need to try." Bucky pressed.

"We can't leave her with Hydra. If what they did to her is anything like what they did to me..." he trailed off remembering all the painful experiments they put him through. "I need to get her back."
