Kidz Bop Hates Me (a Kidz bop horror story)

The New Kids

Rosie knew this day was coming. She could hear it in Matt and Grants voices. They had matured a great deal between Kidz bop 31 and 32. She knew they were getting too old to be Kidz bop kids. But it didn't make things any easier. There were about six of them. They all looked about 10 or 11 years old. And it was pretty clear that Matt Bredia Ashland and Grant were gone. Not on vacation
FOR GOOD.
And These tiny little kids were their replacements. Rosie wasn't even sure what to think of them.
They were all wearing jean jackets. true, the jean jackets weren't matching but they were still all wearing jean jackets so they matched with each other. Rosie had watched a Kidz bop web series back in 2013 called Kidz bop Comic Adventures on YouTube. And in the series they really demonized wearing matching outfits. What the heck even happened?!? Did they just throw the no matching outfits thing out the window?????
This was awful! this was one of the things that she really liked about Kidz bop. That they didn't wear matching outfits like some lame band from the 70s.
And now they're standing out there wearing matching outfits like it's nothing!!!!
It gets even worse there were multiple videos of them wearing those awful jean jackets!! Would they ever change into other outfits? Maybe this was just Kidz bop's new look now. those awful jean jackets forever!! Rosie felt like she was going to puke. And worse she did not know these kids whatsoever. they were so unfamiliar! so even if the jean jackets weren't horrible she didn't think she would ever get used to them! But she had a YouTube channel to run and people would want to hear the latest music she knew that. So even though she really did not like these kids, she had to get them a chance. So she tried to watch some of the new videos. They tried to show her the new kids names. But she couldn't remember them to save her life. Even Worse one kid had a name that she could not pronounce let alone spell. After three or four videos, though she didn't want to admit it, she started looking for an excuse. An excuse to give up entirely and boycott the new kids. She finally got that excuse when she finally found a song she did know.
It was a song done by the group before them. The one Rosie had idolized so much. Rosie couldn't believe it. the nerve of those new kids!!!
Did they think the version by the old kids wasn't good enough? That they had to remix it so soon? The entire thing just infuriated her!
anyway the video said acapella and Rosie did like acapella so she decided maybe she might like it so she gave it a try.
Boy what a mistake.
There acapella was the most horrible thing she'd ever heard. Their singing was actually really good. But there was no background or beat or anything it was just all of them singing Melody!!!! This was it this was the last straw. the straw that broke the camel's back!
She was boycotting the new kids. She didn't freaking care.
She had enough.
And with that her boycott began.
