Rosie was horrified. The song that she thought was so pure and sweet, the song that brought her so much feeling of safety WAS BY THE NEW KIDS!!!
Rosie was certain she was having a some sort of sick twisted nightmare but the next day she checked again and it was still all there. There was no mistake. it was the new kids singing the song she had liked so much. Rosie felt like she was tricked. like this was the new kids' plan all along and she fell for it. She could just picture them sitting around a huge table, snickering
"Hahaha! I can't believe she actually fell for it!" Sierra the new Kidz bop kid said while wearing her awful jean jacket. Isaiah smirked and chuckled too.
"Hee hee hee yeah I know. now that we've gained her liking some of our music we can set to work gaining her trust." He giggled
"Yes, And after we gain her trust we can finally get our revenge. She totally crapped on our acapella skills and our 'extremely stylish' jean jackets." Juliana said smirking.
"How exactly shall we destroy her after we gain her trust?" Cooper asked the others.
"Let's kill her." Freddy grinned, maliciously.
"No it has to be something we can get away with." Cooper said.
"We'll have to make it look like an accident."
"I don't care what we do to her, just as long as it's nice and painful. I want her to pay for what she did." Ahnya added nodding.
"Oh God" Rosie thought.
"There's no way Im going to one of their concerts! They're not going to get me that easily!"
Surely they couldn't actually be planning that! Surely this was not the reason she was tricked!
No surely not. they didn't even know she or her channel existed. she had to be safe..............at least for now. It was then that a small voice spoke to her.
"Rosie don't be scared. It's okay. Isn't this what you wanted? now you know a song from the new kids and you can use it on your YouTube channel. You don't have to be anxious about them anymore."
Rosie listened to the words from the voice inside her head for a moment.
"but I don't want to get to know the new songs. I might know one song but I'm not sure I want to know more! And I don't think these kids are trustworthy!" She replied to it.
"You can take as long as you want getting to know the new songs."
The voice told her.
"The new kids will be waiting for you when you are ready."
Rosie looked at the 2017 kids in their awful jean jackets beaming from her phone for the world to see. She glared at them. "I don't know what to do now. I really like that song and I don't really want to give it up. But I can't just listen to that one song and not listen to the others. So I want you people to know this. Even if I do like your other songs. I don't trust you people for a single second. I'll be watching you like a hawk, make no mistake, I will not let my guard down not even for a moment."
And Rosie set her phone down and went to breakfast.
