Right now I'm laying in my bed with my boyfriend Josh, I go to get up but he grabs my wrist and pulls me back down.
Josh: I want to cuddle more.
Brooke: I need to go to the bathroom. *laughs*
Josh: Oh. *laughs*
He lets go of my wrist and I get off of my bed, I walk to my bathroom and close the door behind me. When I finish in the bathroom I open the door and walk out. I shut the door behind me and walk over to my bed, Josh grabs my wrist and pulls me down on top of him so we're both sitting up, he lets go of my wrist and wraps his arms around my waist. I wrap my arms around his neck, he pulls me closer to him and lays his forehead against mine.
Josh: When are we gonna tell people about us?
Brooke: I'm not sure yet.
Josh: It's been three months though. I want to be able to tell my friends and family about you and how special you are to me.
I smile.
Brooke: I know, I want to be able to do that too but I'm just scared of everyone's reaction.
Josh: Why? Are you embarrassed of me?
Brooke: No of course not Josh. I could never be embarrassed by you. I just don't know what everyone's reaction will be about us and I don't think I'm ready for the hate that we're gonna get.
Josh: If we get hate then we get hate. I think it's okay just as long we're happy with each other. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.
Brooke: When the time is right, I promise we can tell people soon.
Josh: Okay.
Josh kisses me and I kiss him back, I slightly tug on his hair. A few seconds go by and my bedroom door opens, I quickly pull away from Josh and get off of him. We look at my door and see my brother Calum.
Calum: Uhm what the hell is this?
Brooke: Nothing.
Calum: Don't tell me it's nothing. Who is this and why were you guys making out?
Me and Josh look at each other and then back at Calum.
Calum: Brooke who is this?
Brooke: Uh Calum, this is my boyfriend Josh.
Calum: Boyfriend? Since when?
Brooke: Since three months ago.
Calum: So you've been hiding a relationship from me for three months?
Brooke: Yeah.
Calum: When were you planning on telling me?
Brooke: I don't know. When it felt right to tell people I guess.
Calum: Brooke this is not okay. I don't know anything about him.
Josh: Uhm well my name is Josh and I'm eighteen.
Calum: Nope. Brooke no. He's eighteen and you're sixteen. I don't fucking think so.
Brooke: Calum he's two years older and that's it and I'll be seventeen soon anyways.
Calum: Has he forced you to do anything?
Josh: I would never force her to anything that she doesn't want-
Calum: She can speak for herself.
I roll my eyes.
Brooke: No Calum. And it's only been three months. We haven't even thought of doing anything. You're getting way ahead of yourself and you need to stop.
Calum: I don't need to stop because i'm not doing anything.
Brooke: You're already brings overprotective.
Calum: Maybe because you have been dating some boy for three months that I didn't even know about. I still know nothing about him except his age and his name.
Brooke: Then you can get to know him Calum.
Calum: Okay. Hey mystery boy do you want to stay for dinner?
Josh: Uh sure.
I roll my eyes and cross my arms.
Brooke: He has a name.
Calum: Whatever. I need to get going. I have to go to the studio. Can I trust you and this boy here alone for two hours?
Brooke: Yes. And start using his name. You're being a jerk.
Calum: Brooke don't have an attitude with me. I'll be back in two hours.
Calum turns around and walks out of my room, I hear the front door open and shut a few seconds later. I lay back down on my bed, I get underneath the cover along with Josh. He lays down and I lay my head down on his chest, he grabs my remote and turns on The Simpsons.
Brooke: Sorry my brother was being such a jerk.
Josh: It's okay.
Josh kisses the top of my forehead and smiles against my head, I smile against his chest and we start watching the show.
