It was finally lunch.

After what had happened this morning, Renjun couldn't wait to see Chenle. He hoped that seeing him would be able to cheer himself up.

"Renjun!" He heard a high pitched voice call.

Turning around, he saw that Chenle was running towards him.

"Hey chenle!" He said.

"I can take you around the school now if you want." Chenle offered.

Renjun nodded, "yeah sure!"

Renjun quickly put his stuff in his locker and the two boys walked off.

"So there's the music room. Then over there is the art room... " Chenle continued to introduce the school.

The two boys talked, and occasionally Chenle would point out a new part of the school.

"So, did anything interesting happen?" Chenle asked.

Renjun debated whether or not to tell the younger boy about what had happened earlier today.

He finally decided to tell him.

Chenle was pretty much the only person he knew here, so if there was something he needed to say, it would probably be to Chenle, at least for the first few days.

Renjun quickly explained the whole situation.

"I don't even know why he would do it! I don't think I did anything to upset him..." He finished, sounding both mad and discouraged at the same time.

Chenle looked at renjun with a worried expression.

"Okay listen..." he started, "Lee jeno, he has a reputation sort of... For bullying people I guess," the young boy genuinely looked scared when telling this to Renjun, "Everyone is scared of him, no one ever dares to go against his word."

Renjun was shocked. A part of him believed it, since Jeno looked and acted like a cold person, but why would anyone do that?

Chenle continued, "he might bully you for a little bit. A few months maybe. But I promise you, he'll move on once he gets bored."

Renjun didn't know what to say. A few months? Did that mean his whole new life was going to be torture?

For the rest of their lunch break, chenle and renjun both decided to go to the library. They could study there while having their lunch at the same time.

"Hyuck!" Said Renjun, seeing the boy he met earlier sitting at a table at the far end if the library.

"Renjun! Hi!" He replied happily.

The boy had his textbooks open, but was currently on his phone.

Chenle and Renjun both sat down next to him.

"So, how's the new school?" Asked Hyuck.

Renjun sighed and was about to explain everything that had happened, but was cut off by Chenle.

"Terrible. He met jeno." Said chenle.

Donghyuck's face immediately changed. "He bullied you didn't he."

Renjun nodded.

Donghyuck sighed. "I can try to talk to him. We're not exactly friends, but I do know him. He might understand."

Renjun shook his head. "Don't bother. I think I'll be able to deal with it." Said renjun. He was quiet for a while and then he added, "plus, I think he's my neighbour."

Hearing this, chenle and Donghyuck both sat there in shock.

Renjun had a confused expression on his face. "W-what? Is that bad?"

"Maybe...?" Said chenle unsurely.

The three sat there in silence until Donghyuck decided to change the topic.

"Ugh. I have a math test tomorrow," he said.

The three laughed and decided to try and forget about jeno by doing their homework.

At least renjun had his two friends at this new place. If only Lee jeno wasn't a part of his life. He would've considered everything to be perfect.
