Jeno turned to the door to see all of his friends standing there. Jaemin, Donghyuck, Chenle, and Jisung. Even Mark was there, with a slightly nervous expression on his face, but this quickly changed when he saw Jeno's eyes immediately light up after seeing them and bursting into a huge smile.
"Look who's here!" Renjun exclaimed happily after letting the others in.
Jeno and Renjun had spent the morning together after Jeno had confronted his parents. Renjun comforting Jeno the whole time and telling him that everything would be okay.
Renjun had thought that it would be a good idea to invite their friends over. After what happened, Renjun could tell that Jeno was upset and felt a little lost. Even if Jeno tried to hide it, the small boy could see it in his actions. He didn't blame him though, he couldn't even begin to imagine how hard it must've been.
Renjun knew that Jeno needed something to help cheer him up, and at the same time, he knew how much his friends desperately wanted to know that Jeno was okay, so he invited them over. Obviously reminding them not to overwhelm him.
But with a group of friends like this, who knew what would happen?
The first thing Jeno felt was Jaemin engulfing him in a bone-crushing hug. "I'm so glad you're okay!" Jaemin said.
Following that, he felt two people latch themselves onto either of Jeno's arms. Chenle and Jisung from what he could tell about them.
"We missed you so much!" Chenle exclaimed, finally letting himself smile again. Jisung just nodding in agreement.
"Could've gone a few more days," said Hyuck playfully from next to Jeno, earning a light slap from Renjun. Jeno turned to see Donghyuck standing there with a slight smile playing at his lips. The tanned boy immediately gave Jeno a tight hug afterwards.
"hey," he heard Mark say hesitantly. Jeno laughed and got up to give Mark a quick hug. Mark looked surprised but relaxed after seeing the others welcome him into the group.
"thanks for coming guys," Jeno said after everyone had sat down. The seven of them were all spread out in Renjun's living room. Some sitting on the couches and others sitting on the carpet.
"Of course! We've all been dying to see you," Jaemin said excitedly.
Jeno just laughed in response. He truly was thankful for all his friends being here. It helped him so much knowing that he had all these wonderful people with him.
"So do you guys want to watch a movie?" he asked. The others quickly agreed, glad to have something relaxing that they could do as a group.
Jeno got up, but was quickly pulled down by Renjun. "I'll get the snacks, you guys can just enjoy today," Renjun announced, then added, "be glad, I don't do this often,"
The others laughed and Renjun made his way to the kitchen. Opening the cupboard where he kept his secret stash of junk food. When he first hid away this stash, his original plan was to use it for emergency cases such as zombie apocalypses, alien invasions, et cetera.
"I guess this could count as an emergency," he said to himself while shrugging.
He quickly poured out a few different flavours of chips, cookies, candy, chocolate, popcorn, and took out some pop as well. Taking the time, he also ordered a pizza. It was the afternoon and it seemed like his friends would be here for a while.
He took all of the snacks back to the living room. The other boys had all gotten comfortable and 'Moana' was playing on the screen. Chenle cuddled into Jisung's side while Mark, Donghyuck, and Jaemin were sprawled out on one couch.
He set the snacks down and Jeno patted the spot next to him. Renjun sat down and snuggled into Jeno's side while the other boy wrapped his arm around Renjun's small shoulders.
"thank you," Jeno whispered.
Renjun turned his head to look up at Jeno. "For what?" he asked quietly.
"for everything," Jeno smiled, placing a light kiss on Renjun's forehead before turning his attention back to the movie.
Renjun couldn't control the smile that formed on his face.

Also I know it's been a few days already but I'm still freaking out
