I walk down the dark tunnel, following the cries of what seemed to belong to a little girl. As I kept getting closer, it kept getting louder; as if the pain was growing with every step I took.
Then I finally see her, her figure, sat down on the floor, and her face hidden behind those small hands.
"Are you okay?" I question and kneel down facing her, but was only welcomed with utter silence. Not ever cries were heard anymore.
I put my hand on her slim shoulder, "How did you get here little girl?"
She slowly starts to lift her head, and thats when I move back up with a low gasp.
Short brown hair with small bangs, big wide eyes, and a face that felt alive.
It was me.
The younger version of me notices my facial expressions, and starts to cry again. As for I, I stood there with a complete shock on my face, it felt like I was slapped with a fish.
"You don't like me!" She shouts and that snaps me back.
"W-What?" I whisper, and look around. The tunnel seemed to get smaller, the air seemed to cut short and it was suddenly hard to breathe.
Little me stands up and pushes me, "I said you don't like me!" I couldn't even speak.
"Why?!"...Push.
"Is it because-"...Push.
"-I'm weak?!"...Push.
"No!" I shout back and she stops.
I kneel down to her height, the tears left no warning for me and just rolled down. I smile down at the little girl. "I love you. I just wish you could've seen some things, you're so naive so innocent-" she looks at me with worried eyes, she had no idea. "-you're a good girl, don't sell yourself."
