23~Meet Kristina

I woke up from my phone buzzing which caused me to groan in annoyance, I gripped on my phone and squinted at the bright light. I saw it was from Caleb, it better be important its so early! Wait no it 10 in the morning...my bad.

Hey im in the hospital, come over?

My eyes widened, Calebs in hospital what! Why? I got up and ran to my dads room "DAD I NEED A RIDE HURRY" I stopped when I saw my parents having a full on make out session on the bed "OH MY GOD! PLEASE DO YOUR BABY MAKING PROCESS WHEN IM GONE"

My parents laughed "Well how do you think we made you? I remember that day clearly, we were having a picnic at a park then went back to your dads house then he had candles and he put on-"

"OH MY GOD PLEASE...." I sighed rubbing my eyes trying to not think about it. So after getting that all cleared up my dad took me to the hospital "Want me to stay and wait?"

"No I might be here a while" He nodded

"Love you and take care, bye"

"I love you too bye" I waved and started walking into the hospital. I walked up to the desk "Hey im here to see Caleb Ross" She looked through her computed and shook her head

"There is no Caleb Ross here"

"Well your wrong there is, chea-"

"Kris!" I turned around and saw Caleb and ran to him hugging him tightly "You thought I was in hurt or something? Sorry my text didn't explain much, its my mum....she tried to kill herself" my eyes widened at this, we entered a room with the lady I saw at the shops a while ago. Her skin was pale and her wrist was bandaged. 

"Mum" Caleb whispered nudging her arm a bit. "Kristina is here... mum" He nudged her lightly again and her eyes opened slowly looking at me and she smiled "So you're the one who has been looking after my son while I didn't....thank you" She paused and looked over at Caleb "And you're right she is beautiful" His eyes widened and his cheeks tinted pink "mum!" He groaned me and his mum both laughed

"Its okay Miss Ross, Caleb is basically the only real friend I have had" I said smiling at him and he smiled back, while his mum "awed" us "Oh and Kristina you can call me Kathrine" Miss Ro-Kathrine said Caleb came up to me and hugged me "We still on for tomorrow for the date or are you going to stay here, I don't mind" I questioned, Calebs mouth opened to reply but Kathrine bet him too it

"Awe! Caleb you gotta go, is it the first date for you guys? Yes it is I can tell you go I will be just fine" She said happily clapping her hands "Okay if your sure....remember casual clothes Kris, i'll be right back im starving" He said walking out, I tapped my foot awkwardly I didn't know what to say. "Come closer" Kathrine mumbled, I took a few steps and stood infront of her and she grabbed my hand

"I wanted to apologize, im aware we have met before in my drunken state and I take it didn't go very well...im sorry if I said offensive things to you, and now I want to thank you with all my heart...thank you for keeping him here, keeping him happy I've been a terrible terrible mother to him so im glad he had you" She said smiling with a few tears forming in her eyes "He told me he tried to commit suicide...where you there for any of them?" She asked quietly. I nodded and the memories came back to my mind

"Yeah...once It was the same day we met he texted me saying his goodbye so I ran as fast as I could to the house and he tried to hang himself I got there just in time though" I said looking down at the ground "just in time" I muttered to myself.

When I got back home I fell back onto my bed and sighed, Kathrine was actually a seemed like a nice person now and im glad Caleb has another person he can trust and look after him. I shut my eyes but them then snapped open again, wait what am I even going to wear tomorrow?!

Oh well it a mystery I guess, and I fell asleep
