Iduna POV💨

"What?"

"Iduna do you remember him from yesterday?" Ms mane waved for me to come towards her.

"Sorry if I upset you yesterday, it was truly my fault, please accept my apologies." bowed the fierce man.

I bowed towards him as a sign of respect, I don't really have a good impression of him, I would describe him as the nokk when it is mad.

"Come Iduna we have to pack quickly as Duke Lukas going to bring to the capital of arendelle."

"What why?" I reluctantly said, I do not want to get hold tightly by his strong hands again, I didn't want to experience his wrath again.

"You saved him don't you remember?" ms mane said, and winking at me.

I don't understand anything what ms mane is trying to convey to me, as I want to speak, she pulled me up to my room.

"Do you remember that boy you rescue?" I nodded as she continued.

She said that he is summoning me as I saved him.

"I heard there is mythical books stored in the arendelle royal library, maybe you could check it out on your way there?"

Mythical books? Sounds like a great place where I could get information about the forest.

Ms Mane helped me packed beforehand, and told me what I am suppose and not suppose to do, she also told me she lied about my background to that man who is apparently an uncle to the prince.

"Am I suppose to lie?" I am very bad at lying, I never like to lie, it just glitches me a little to do such horrid act.

"A little lie won't hurt, in our case." She winks and open her arms.

She is right, for the forest, maybe a little lie won't bite. I then gave ms mane a hug, "Thank you ms mane, for all your help."

"What are you suppose to call me?"

"Aunt Mane."

"That right, I shall accept this little criticism just for you." Both of us began to giggle.

As I got out of the house, I saw the moon up in the sky, Dukas Lukas smiled and open the carriage.

"Ms Iduna I hope you don't mind this small carriage I rent, as there is no more carriage other than this."

I nodded and boarded the carriage, as I sat comfortably, the carriage went off.

"Iduna, stay safe and remember what I said!" waved ms mane.

"I will!" I turned and waved back.

As the moon started to shine, I started to cozy up by covering myself with my scarf and putting my bag near my head to act as a pillow, soon after I doze off.

The next morning

I was woken up by murmuring around me, I block myself with my hands to block out any sunlight trying to enter my eyes. Then someone started to tap on my shoulder. I moved my scarf away from my face, only to see a lot of people surrounding me.

I wiped my eyes and saw a lot of middle age women wearing dark clothing mumbling to themselves.

"she...bea...."

"what.....kin...do....er..."

"Erm...how can I help you?" I smiled awkwardly.

Suddenly they all curtsy and left quickly, strangely, and then I heard coughing behind me.

"Ms Iduna, follow me." Duke Lukas leads the way to a very big building, which looks very grand, never in my life I would thought I would enter such regal place.

"Wow this place is huge."

"Of course, this is where royals lives." He introduced warmly.

He then led me into a room, and then shut the door, and he suddenly felt intimating.

"Who exactly are you."

I started fidgeting my hands, and got nervous, isn't the boy whom I saved is summoning me? Why is he questioning me?

"Pardon me, before I let you see my nephew, I need to do some safety check."

This is a trap! That boy didn't even summon me in the first place, he is trying to squeeze out my secret! I pray to Mother Nature to get me out of this mess. Suddenly, someone enter.

"Your grace, the councils are ready in the meeting room."

I sighed, thank you Mother Nature for such quick act, then Duke Lukas looked at me.

"If you won't mind, do stay here till I am back."

"How long would you take?" I quickly asked him, I do not want to stay here and wait for him to expose me.

Duke Lukas looked at the young men and he answered, "Your grace, it would take quite a while."

Duke Lukas rubbed his forehead and called someone in.

"Ella, Grete, come in." Two ladies around my age came in and greeted him.

"Take care of this girl." And left the room abruptly.

The two young ladies came near me and curtsy and looked at me.

"Where would you like to go?" They both said.

I remember what I was here for, to check out the royal library, and hopefully to find something related to clearing the mist and getting home.

"Is there a library here?"

Agnarr POV🌊

"Your breakfast your majesty." Kai placed a tray of buttermilk pancakes on the table.

I finally read finish the Danish book, it was quite a sad ending, the mermaid didn't have the heart to kill the prince to get her tail back, instead she dies off as sea foam, never to be seen again.

Why do stories end tragically, I felt more depressed after reading the book, why can't the prince like the mermaid? Why isn't the mermaid given a better choice? Can't they be together?

I need to read happier stories than this.

"Kai bring it to the library, I would like to eat there."

"Your majesty, the library had not been open for years...."

"My father have locked it long enough, I knew why he didn't open it up, because of mother death that cause him to be such paranoid."

"Your majesty....I will get the library ready for you once we cleaned it."

"No, I will go immediately Kai, I won't mind the dust."

Kai bowed and went out with the tray as I followed him out.

As I went towards the library, I heard chatters and realized the library door was opened.

Kai noticed and went ahead of me, who would have open the library?

When I went in the library I saw Kai lecturing two new lady staff.

"I am sorry Kai! I didn't know the library is out of bound, we wouldn't have brought her here...."

I then saw a part of the library getting very dusty, I then went there and saw a girl dusting every book she saw.

"No this isn't it....."

I coughed to get her attention, but accidentally inhale dusty which made me cough even more.

"Are you ok?" I felt a pat on my back.

I turned around and saw a young girl who had her crimson hair fuzzed up and her outfit which doesn't really suit her.

"Yes...ahem." I hit my chest.

"Wait it's you...."
